Abstract: For closing packages (9) provided with a movable pouring spout, an adhesive is applied to one or both portions of a first pair of folding portions (16) which are movable integrally with an inclined wall (14) of a chamfered corner (10) of the package (9). The first folding portions (16) may be coupled to a second pair of folding portions (18), which are movable integrally with an oscillatable tongue (12) of the spout. The adhesive adheres the second portions (18) to the first portions (16) when the tongue (12) moves toward the inclined wall (14).

Such containers can be produced in a simple and economical manner and can be adapted to different types of products, such as different types of salt. Such containers are particularly useful for dispensing fine salt.

Abstract: Containers are provided which include a flexible packaging suitable for containing a product in the form of granules, powder or flakes. Such containers include those having a first cut made in an outer wall of the packaging, the cut forming a first through-opening for pouring. A pouring spout may be inserted in the first opening. The spout may be pivotable about a horizontal hinge line (x), between a retracted closed position and an extended open position. A reinforcing element may be attached to a portion of the packaging around the first opening and the spout. The reinforcing element may be more rigid than the flexible packaging and may have a second through-cut that forms a second opening in the reinforcing element, juxtaposed on the first opening in the packaging and communicating with the latter opening.
