Abstract: A transaction module can be incorporated in a terminal for authorizing a transaction between a first application resident in the terminal and a second application resident in an electronic device. The module may include code-obtaining means for obtaining a code; an interface with a communications means of the terminal enabling a validation request including the code to be sent to a secure server; means for generating an audio signal from the code; an interface with a module of the terminal suitable for sending the audio signal to a loudspeaker of the terminal in order to play it back; and means for authorizing the transaction on receiving a validation message from the secure server. The validation message may be representative of the secure server receiving the code from the electronic device.

Abstract: This method for dispensing banknotes from an automated teller machine includes, after authentication of a user, a step (122) of dispensing, by an automated teller machine, of banknotes corresponding to a predetermined amount. It involves the establishment (104) of a mobile communication channel between a portable apparatus of the user close to the automated teller machine, and an authentication unit; downloading (110), by the automated teller machine, of a digital code from the authentication unit; transmission (114), by the portable apparatus, via the secured mobile communication channel, to the authentication unit, of a sound signal generated from the digital code and transmitted by the automated teller machine; authentication (118) of the user by the authentication unit; and transmission (122) to the automated teller machine of an instruction to activate the automaton to dispense banknotes corresponding to the predetermined amount.
Abstract: Before effecting a transaction between two servers, this method sets up a communications channel in a wireless telecommunications network between each server and a mobile terminal. One of the servers sends a signal on its wireless communications channel. That signal is received by the mobile terminal in wireless communication with the server, emitted by the loudspeaker of that mobile terminal, picked up by the microphone of the other mobile terminal, and sent by wireless communication to the other server. If the received signal is validated by one or both of the two servers, the transaction is effected.
Abstract: A method of authenticating the user (U) of a terminal (2) connected to an Internet type network. A communications channel is set up in a secure mobile telephony network (GSM) between mobile equipment (3) of the user (U) situated close to the terminal (2) and an authentication unit (1). The terminal (2) downloads (E30) an auto-run digital code from the authentication unit (1). The mobile equipment sends (E40) a sound signal via the mobile communications channel to the authentication unit (1), the sound signal being generated (E35) by the terminal (2) on the basis of the digital code. The user (U) is authenticated on the basis of the sound signal received (E40) via the mobile communications channel (GSM), and on the basis of an identifier (GSM_No) of the mobile equipment (3).
Abstract: Before effecting a transaction (E100) between two servers, this method sets up (E10) a communications channel in a wireless telecommunications network between each server and a mobile terminal. One of the servers sends (E30) a signal on its wireless communications channel. That signal is received (E40) by the mobile terminal in wireless communication with the server, emitted (E50) by the loudspeaker of that mobile terminal, picked up (E60) by the microphone of the other mobile terminal, and sent (E60, E70) by wireless communication to the other server. If the received signal is validated (E90) by one or both of the two servers, the transaction is effected (E100).
