Abstract: This invention relates to a shunting device adopted in the intracranial shunting surgical operation for the treatment of hydrocephalus. It is comprised of a thin film and a ventricular tube to be implanted into the cranium of a patient with hydrocephalus, which will bypass the intraventricular cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the brain of such a patient, and thus maintain a normal pressure inside the cranium for the treatment of hydrocephalus.
