Abstract: An anode structure allows firmly connecting thereto a core conductor of a high-voltage supply lead without using any pressing tool. A CRT anode cap is provided with an insulated high-voltage supply lead and an anode structure electrically connected with a free end of the insulated high-voltage lead for engagement with a CRT anode button. A conductive plate member has, in its inside portion, two parallel protrusions and formed opposite to a protrusion of a conductive plate member. With a core conductor of the high-voltage lead placed between the protrusions, the conductive plate member is pressed in the direction to engage its engaging lug with a recess of a conductive plate member.

Abstract: An anode structure attached to free end of an insulated high-tension lead for engagement with a CRT anode button. The anode structure has a radioactive rays shielding portion for shielding radioactive rays emanating from the anode button, an engaging portion for insertion into the anode button and a lead holding portion for holding the insulated high-tension lead.
