Abstract: A method for producing a hydrophilic aerogel granule is provided, which includes the steps of: mixing for the siloxane solvent mixture preparation, hydrolysis with proper acid catalyst, condensation dispersion by introducing a proper alkali catalyst into the mixture and dispersing it with hydrophobic dispersion solvent to obtain wet gel, aging under a specific temperature, disintegration dispersion for disintegrating the wet gel and dispersing it in the dispersion solvent, high temperature solvent exchange under ambient temperature with dispersion solvent, and solvent evaporation for removing the dispersion solvent.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for producing a heat insulating material composed of a hydrophobic aerogel, and the method includes the steps of: (1) mixing step; (2) hydrolysis step; (3) condensation step; (4) aging step; and (5) drying step. In the method, a siloxane compound, an inorganic gel, and a halogen-free surfactant are mixed and then a sol-gel process is performed to produce the aerogel heat-insulating material without water-washing. The produced heat-insulating material has preferable strength, smooth appearance, and low shrinkage and can overcome the powder-dropping problem. By the provided method, an aerogel heat-insulating board can be produced, or an aerogel cold-resisting and heat-insulating blanket can be produced by mixing with a fiber or a foam material.

Abstract: A method for producing a composite glue composed of a hydrophobic aerogel according to the present invention includes: (S1) mixing step; (S2) hydrolysis step; (S3) condensation step; (S4) aging step; (S5) high-temperature pulse washing step; (S6) drying step; and (S7) composition step. The obtained composite glue composed of a hydrophobic aerogel is high-viscosity glue made by blending the hydrophobic aerogel with an inorganic fiber, and the related product not only has good properties of cold resisting and heat insulating, but also is light and has appropriate strength, excellent flame retardancy, and excellent water repellency.

Abstract: A wet gel granule of aerogel is prepared by the following steps: mixing step: mixing with an organic mixed solvent to form a mixed solution; hydrolysis step: adding an acid catalyst to the mixed solution for carrying out a hydrolysis reaction, and adding a dispersion solvent during the condensation reaction, and agitating to gel the mixed solution during agitation and produce multiple hydrophilic or hydrophobic wet gel granules of aerogel. The overall preparation speed can be shortened quickly and at the same time the hydrophilic or hydrophobic wet gel granules of aerogel wet glue particles are prepared to increase the production efficiency of the wet gel granules of aerogel.
Abstract: A method for producing an aerogel granule having a hydrophobic-hydrophilic bipolar core-shell structure combines an aerogel precursor having a hydrophilic structure with another aerogel precursor having a hydrophobic structure. The method comprises the steps of: mixing a hydrophilic alkoxysilane compound, a hydrophobic alkyl-substituted alkoxysilane compound, and an organic solvent to form a mixture; adding an acidic catalyst to the mixture to perform hydrolysis; adding a basic catalyst to the hydrolyzed mixture to perform condensation, and during the condensation adding a dispersion solvent to the hydrolyzed mixture and stirring the hydrolyzed mixture to gelate so as to form the aerogel granule having a hydrophobic-hydrophilic bipolar core-shell structure.

Abstract: An aerogel particle is produced by following processes. A mixing process: an alkoxysilane compound is mixed with an organic solvent to form a first mixed solution. A hydrolysis process: an acid catalyst is added into the first mixed solution to perform a hydrolysis reaction, thereby obtaining a sol. A condensation process: an alkali catalyst is added into the sol to perform a condensation reaction, and a hydrophobic dispersion solvent is added and stirred during the condensation process, thereby subjecting sol to be gelled when it is stirred, further producing the aerogel particle with a uniform structure.
