Abstract: A six-degree-of-freedom travelling system, wherein a solid is driven by eight suspending lines in six degrees of freedom. The six-degree-of-freedom travelling system can be provided as a bodily sensing machine comprising a human-riding cage: eight suspending lines in connection with the cage; eight actuators hauling and veering the respective lines for vary the position and attitude of the cage, and a controller controlling the eight actuators for constantly holding the eight lines under proper tensions, wherein the cage is travelled in six degrees of freedom.
Abstract: A method of determining the success or failure of the press fitting a workpiece into an object member having a contact end by a linearly-driven plunger is disclosed. In a predetermined stroke range RM of the plunger press fitting the workpiece, thrust information S1 and position information S2 are acquired. The position where the ratio of change of the thrust information S1 with respect to the position information S2 exceeds a predetermined value is detected as an almost press fit end position LLP. The success or failure of the press fitting work is determined according to whether the thrust information S1 is included in a predetermined range of a section from a predetermined determination start position LLH to a determination end position LLQ during the press fitting work. The determination end position LLQ is determined based on the almost press fit end position LLP.
Abstract: A solenoid valve and manifold assembly wherein a solenoid pilot change-over valve can be selectively used as of the internal pilot type or as of external pilot type. The manifold comprises a gasket capable of being disposed between a manifold body and a valve body of a change-over valve of the solenoid pilot change-over valve alternatively in first or reverse second orientation and having a supply hole, an internal pilot hole and an external pilot hole formed therein. The supply path is communicated with an inlet port of the valve body by way of the supply hole whether the gasket is disposed in the first or second orientation.
Abstract: A rotary business form printing press wherein a differential gear for controlling the velocity of the roller is provided between a feed roller in a sheet feed mechanism and the drive mechanism, an adjustment device for the impression cylinder for adjusting the wheel base between an impression cylinder and a blanket cylinder is provided in the impression cylinder, motors for adjusting the positions are provided on wheels in a punching unit and in processing heads in a slitter and a vertical perforation unit, rotational angle detecting devices are provided on respective revolving shafts of a plate cylinder, wheels in the punching unit, a perforation cylinder and crank discs in a zig-zag folding unit, and differential gears for adjusting the vertical register are provided between these revolving shafts and the drive mechanism.
