Abstract: To derive spectrum information on chemical intermediates in photochemical reactions during transitional periods, a transient grating spectroscopy uses white light as the probe light in the pico-second region and monochromatic light in the microsecond region. According to the procedure, it is possible to analyze the photochemical reaction of thin films and interface layers as a function of time at a high precision.
