Abstract: Disclosed is a first agent-containing composition for treating synthetic fiber that is combined in use with a second agent for treating synthetic fiber containing a specific nonionic surfactant. The first agent-containing composition contains a first agent for treating synthetic fiber and a solvent. The first agent contains specific organic phosphoric acid ester salts at specific ratios and has a specific acid value. The solvent has a boiling point at atmospheric pressure of not more than 105° C. Assuming that the sum of the amounts of the first agent and the solvent contained in the first agent-containing composition is 100 parts by mass, the amount of the first agent contained in the first agent-containing composition is not less than 35 parts by mass and not more than 55 parts by mass.
