  • Patent number: 4804421
Abstract: In a method for removing an aged wax and fur on a vehicle by a washing machine including a gate-type frame which is reciprocally travellable astride the vehicle in longitudinal direction of the latter and which is provided with a rotary brush arrangement, a dryer, a clear water sprayer, a neutralizer-containing rinse water sprayer and an aged-wax/fur removing material spreader, the vehicle is brushed by the rotary brush arrangement during a first advancing movement of the gate-type frame, and an aged-wax/fur removing material is spreaded onto the vehicle by the aged-wax/fur removing material spreader, while at the same time brushing the vehicle by said rotary brush arrangement during a first returning movement and second advancing movement of the gate-type frame.

  • Patent number: 4781946
Abstract: A vehicle polishing method includes a first polishing step of moving a portal or gate-type travel frame travellable forwardly and backwardly in one of opposite travelling direction over a stationary vehicle to polish the body surface of the vehicle by rotary brush means mounted on the travel frame during such movement while applying a foamy primary treating agent containing an anionic surfactant onto the body surface by a primary treating agent applicator mounted on the travel frame, and a second polishing and rinsing step of moving the travel frame in the other travelling direction and polishing the body surface by the rotary brush means while applying an aqueous wax containing a cationic surfactant onto the body surface by an aqueous wax applicator, and ejecting fresh water onto the body surface by a rinsing unit mounted on the travel frame to wash away the excessive wax from the body surface.

  • Patent number: 4640467
Abstract: A kitchen utensil for producing juice, including a rotary shaft rotated by a motor, a pre-treatment rotary blade secured to the proximal end of the rotary shaft which projects into a vessel, a first grinder member secured to the rotary shaft below the rotary blade in the vessel and a second grinder member secured to the bottom plate of the vessel so as to oppose the first grinder member. Fruit and/or vegetables put into the vessel together with a pre-determined amount of water is finely cut into pieces by the pre-treatment rotary blade and thereafter introduced into between the first and second grinding members to be mashed and ground more finely, whereby an emulsified juice is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4622246
Abstract: A method of polishing a vehicle, using a portal traveling frame which straddles a vehicle to be polished and moves reciprocatingly, said portal traveling frame being provided thereon with rotative brushes, wax applicators, rinsing means and driers. In a first travel of the portal traveling frame, the vehicle is washed. In a second travel of the portal frame, a foamy wax of anionic active agent is applied to the vehicle. In a third travel of the portal frame, an aqueous wax of cationic active agent is applied to the vehicle which is subsequently rinsed. In a fourth travel of the portal frame, the vehicle is dried.
