    Abstract: A drinking assembly, such as a water bottle or a drinkware, having a drinking vessel and a lid assembly attached to the drinking vessel, such as by threads. The drinking vessel can have a double-wall construction. The lid assembly can have a control assembly to open and close a drink opening and a vent opening. The lid assembly can be removed from the body of the lid to enable cleaning. The control arm of the control assembly can pivot or rotate to impart an axial motion on an actuator to open the drink opening and the vent opening.

The airtight seal traps vapor generated from the beverage during the chilling, thereby causing the vapor to re-enter the beverage to maintain optimum flavor.
