    Abstract: A door locking handle assembly of a pull-out and side-swinging lever-action type includes a casing (1) having a locking shaft (11) and a handle (18) which can be swung out and pushed in a front concave portion (3) of the casing smoothly without fail. A push button (24) is pivoted to a front end of the handle (18) through a cross pivot (31), and has its intermediate portion (26) partially formed into a corrugated surface (28). A corrugated leaf spring (32) is fixed to a rear surface of the front end of the handle (18), so as to have its peak portion (32a) engage with a trough portion (28b) of the corrugated surface (28) of the push button (24) so that the push button (24) is held in a depressed position, whereby an engaging hook portion (29) of the push button (24) is held in its retracted position free from a receiving portion (5) of the casing (1 ).

    Abstract: In a drag-free joint assembly: a stationary body 1 is embedded flush in a connected object 10; a rotary shaft 7 is embedded flush in the body 1; a spring 4 is in a cavity 15 of the shaft 7; a locking shaft 2 is inserted in an upper end of the cavity 15 flush with the shaft 7; a lock pin 3 passes through an axially-elongated through-hole 17 of the shaft 7 and is inserted into a through-hole 16 of the shaft 2; a notch 8 is in an inner surface of the body 1 to permit an end of the pin 3 to move when the shaft 2 is rotated; the notch 8 has an axially-extending locking groove 9 in an end of its bottom surface; the groove 9 engages with the end of the pin 3; and a hole 11 is in the other object 12; whereby the pin 3 engages with the groove 9 when the shaft 7 is rotated to have the plate 5 crossed with the hole 11 at a right angle behind the hole.

At the same time, a catch plate 37 fixed to a rear-end portion of the cam 16 is rotated as the cam rotates, so that the catch plate 37 is engaged with and disengaged from a receiving portion 59 of the stationary frame element 58.

The assembly comprises: the body 1 constructed of arms 1a, 1b and a plate interposed therebetween; a winding shaft 7 constructed of plates 7a, 7b and supported between the arms 1a, 1b; a handle 2 constructed of arms 2a, 2b, a plate interposed therebetween and grips 10, 11; ratchet wheels 5a, 5b mounted on the shaft 7, wheel 5a being interposed between the arms 1a and 2a, the other wheel 5b being interposed between the arms 1b and 2b; a ratchet 3 for preventing the wheels 5a, 5b from rotating; and the lever 4 for rotatably driving the wheels 5a, 5b so that the strap is wound on the shaft 7.

    Abstract: A door lock handle assembly comprises a stationary member having a sleeve portion having a shaft bore with the surface thereof provided with a retainer projection, and a handle having a shaft portion having a rear end insertion groove. The shaft portion of the handle is inserted in the shaft bore of the stationary member with the retainer projection and the insertion groove engaged with each other. After completion of the insertion, the retainer projection is accommodated in a front end circumferential escape groove formed as part of the insertion groove.The shaft portion of the handle is not detached from the sleeve portion of the stationary member when a rotational angle regulation member or a locking member is removed. The Stationary member can be secured to a door, so that by rotation of the handle a lock member can be engaged in a locking groove provided in an adjacent stationary structure.

The latch projection can be reliably engaged in and disengaged from the striker hole even if there is a slight deviation from the design position of securement between the striker and casing.

    Abstract: A ratchet type latch assembly, which can reliably lock a closing member to a stationary frame even if the relative positions of a lockable member and a latch member are shifted. The latch member is pivoted by a pivotal pin to rear end portions of a pair of bearing arms attached to a latch case. A pawl lever is pivoted by a pivotal pin to central portions of the bearing arms. The latch member has an arcuate edge formed on the side of its pivotal pin opposite its guide projection and about its pivotal pin, the arcuate edge being formed with a train of ratchets The pawl lever has its rear end portion provided with a check pawl latch for engagement and disengagement with respect to the ratchet train. The latch lever is urged against the pawl lever by a torsion spring. An operating handle is pivoted to a front plate member of the latch case, and can be lifted manually to release the latch member from the lockable member of the stationary frame.

The handle assembly can be used for both leftward and rightward pulling doors and permits manufacturing cost reduction by mass production of a single item product.

    Abstract: A key switch assembly, which can reliably eliminate swinging of the key end and erroneous operation due to incomplete insertion of a key. A guide extends rearward of a lock cylinder received in a lock body and parallel to a switch juxtaposition. One side of the guide is aligned to an extension of a key groove surface and is provided with an axial positioning ridge for engagement with an axial positioning groove formed in a side of the key. A restricting front face of a guide disk secured to the lock body is held in contact with the rear face of the lock cylinder. The guide disk is provided with a restricting notch, the radius of curvature of an arcuate edge of which is made smaller than the radius of rotation of the key. The key has an edge provided with an escapement groove, into which the arcuate edge escapes when the key inserted to a predetermined depth is turned, and the guide has its stem provided with an escapement groove, which is engaged by the arcuate edge.
