  • Publication number: 20160303571
Abstract: The present invention relates to a crushing roll for a roll-type crusher has a shaft with at least one groove extending in the axial direction on its lateral surface, to receive formed elements. The formed elements serve to retain the crushing shells, for which purpose the formed elements form a form-interlockingly engaging combination with the groove in the shaft, in the radial direction. A “form-interlockingly engaging combination in the radial direction” is understood here to signify means of blocking of movement of the formed elements in the radial direction of the shaft. In this way, it is possible to anchor the crushing shells in the grooves by means of the formed elements.

  • Patent number: 9399915
Abstract: A dumping system, for the dumping of material, in particular for the filling of a former strip mine, includes a conveyor belt with belt modules (7) suspended on cables and a traveling tripper (15), which is arranged traveling in the direction of conveying. The belt modules (7) are fastened by braced carrier cables (3) and suspension cables (5) fastened thereto in a mostly horizontal alignment. The traveling tripper (5) can travel on the belt modules (7). Furthermore, the slack of the carrier cables (3) may be compensated by a different length of the suspension cables (5), such that the belt modules (7) are aligned mostly horizontally. It is thus possible to span over the area to be dumped (for example, a pit) with cables and to dump material by the traveling tripper at all points of the bracing. Thus, it is not necessary to drive the dumped material.

  • Patent number: 9333976
Abstract: A track displaceable service vehicle replaces individual worn or damaged idlers with new idlers in the upper run and lower run of a belt conveyor with rising or falling conveying route, in which there is little space for the use of the service vehicle for replacing the idlers. The service vehicle accommodates a magazine for new and worn idlers and auxiliary devices for lifting the belt and removing old and for installing new idlers. A platform carries service personnel, and can be brought into a horizontal position in case of an inclined travel route of the service vehicle. The replacing of worn or defective idlers takes place in certain cycles in which the entire segment of the belt conveyor is removed and all worn and defective idlers are replaced. The service vehicle has a drive and is suitable for long tunnel sections (conveying routes which extend over several kilometers).

  • Patent number: 9169078
Abstract: The invention relates to the design of driving, deflecting, and tensioning drums for conveyor belts, comprising a one-piece drum jacket or a drum jacket (1) comprising a center drum body (10) and two bearing pieces (11, 12) attached to both sides of the center drum body. All three components of the drum jacket (1) are provided with flanges on the sides facing each other and screwed together at said flanges. Each of the two bearing pieces (11, 12) has an annular bearing seat for rolling-element bearings on the outside. Each of the two rolling-element bearings is accommodated on the outside by a bearing shield (3, 4), wherein the one bearing is a fixed bearing and the other bearing is a floating bearing. In a first embodiment, a direct drive (2), the rotor of which directly drives the drum jacket (1), is provided as a drive.

  • Patent number: 8985302
Abstract: A compact spreader on continuous tracks (10) for use in opencast mining has a discharge boom (70) with a rearward extension designed as a rocker having a counterweight (100). The rocker is suspended centrally in a framework (50) over the turntable (40). Hydraulic cylinders (14) absorb only forces from half of the imposed load. The embodiment according to the invention is suitable for large band widths and discharge projections up to 100 m and eliminates the danger of tipping over.

  • Patent number: 8985300
Abstract: A control system is provided for a conveyor bridge with a plurality of segments and equipped with individual traveling gears for the cyclic traveling (moving) on a surface in travel straight ahead and in a curve. The control system follows a process including the steps of: detecting positions of both ends of the segments of a conveyor bridge on terrain; calculating target coordinates for the control of the conveyor bridge; simultaneous switching on of the drives of all traveling gears; synchronously controlling the drives of all traveling gears; during the travel movement, constantly measuring the distance covered by each traveling gear; constantly measuring angular deviations from the straight line between two adjacent segments during the travel movement; providing a lateral slope compensation between the traveling gear and the support frame of each segment; and providing a fine alignment of all segments after reaching the target coordinates.

  • Patent number: 8876030
Abstract: A mobile crusher (2) is provided that can be displaced on four caterpillars and that includes a supporting frame (20), a large hopper (31), an apron conveyor (32), a sizer (34) and an intermediate conveyor (36) for use in strip-mining. The material is received by the shovel (1) of a shovel excavator or a wheel loader, is fed to the crusher (2), crushed and is then transferred onto a conveyor plant via a discharge conveyor system. The crusher (2) has to follow at the same cycle in which the shovel excavator moves forward during an advance in mining. In order to obtain a good maneuverability of the crusher (2), the two front caterpillars (22) are driven and can be steered like a two-caterpillar chassis. As the crusher (2) is subject to high loads, all components have to have a robust design. For this purpose, the individual functional groups are accommodated in a stable supporting frame (20).

  • Publication number: 20140283351
Abstract: A method and a device are provided for replacing individual idler rollers for conveyors, with which a web belt can be lifted and worn-out or damaged idler rollers in upper and lower runs can be individually replaced. The device includes, separately for replacing the idler rollers in the upper run and in the lower run, a subframe (1) for lifting the web belt (7) and for holding the web belt (7), such that a sufficient clearance is formed for replacing worn-out idler rollers (53) by means of a changing frame (2). A service vehicle is equipped with a lifting apparatus for moving dividing devices. The process steps include lifting the web belt (7), removing the old idler roller (53old), inserting the new idler roller (53new) and lowering the web belt (7). The drawing shows the use of two dividing devices in the replacing of idler rollers in the upper run.

  • Publication number: 20140262695
Abstract: A conveyor belt system drive has at least one drive at the head drum or head drums. At least one non-driven relieving roller is arranged in a vicinity of each of the driven upper belt middle rollers. A device brings the driven upper belt middle rollers into a position spaced a distance from the belt. The driven upper belt middle rollers can be removed from the belt for maintenance operations or replacement. It is not necessary to stop the conveyor belt system in case of a defect of a driven upper belt middle roller to repair or replace same. The non-driven relieving roller advantageously assumes the support function of the driven upper belt middle roller, when this is located in the position spaced at a distance from the belt. The driving power of the conveyor belt system is dimensioned such that failure a driven upper belt middle roller can be compensated.
