Patents Assigned to Talltec Technologies Holdings S.A.
  • Patent number: 7307395
Abstract: The invention concerns a sequential safety system associated with a moving closing panel driven so as to slide by an electric motor (6), this safety system including means (20) exploiting the signal originating from an optical fiber to stop and reverse the direction of movement of said moving panel in the event of a change in the signal, as well as additional safety means allowing the end-of-travel positions of the moving panel to be determined without ambiguity via the joint exploitation of the results derived from measuring the frequency of the pulses caused by the rotation of the electric motor (6) driving said moving panel, as well as data originating from the optical fiber.

  • Patent number: 6772559
Abstract: The invention concerns a sequential safety system associated with a moving closing panel driven so as to slide by an electric motor (6), this safety system including elements (20) exploiting the signal originating from an optical fiber to stop and reverse the direction of movement of said moving panel in the event of a change in the signal, as well as additional safety element allowing the end-of-travel positions of the moving panel to be determined without ambiguity via the joint exploitation of the results derived from measuring the frequency of the pulses caused by the rotation of the electric motor (6) driving said moving panel, as well as data originating from the optical fiber.

  • Patent number: 6511222
Abstract: The invention concerns a temperature sensor including an optical fiber source (10, 30) for supplying an optical signal, a first fiber optic transmission line (12, 32) connected to the optical source, a sensitive optical fiber portion (14, 34) connected to the fiber optic transmission line, a second fiber optic transmission line (16, 36) connected to the sensitive portion of the optical fiber, and an optical detection and processing circuit (18, 38) connected to the second fiber optic transmission line for receiving and analysing the optical signal transmitted by the optical source and passing through the optical fiber, said sensor being characterised in that said sensitive optical fiber portion is mounted on a plane support and bent over a determined length (N1) and with a determined amplitude of curvature (A1).

  • Patent number: 6243167
Abstract: The invention concerns an optical fiber gyrometer with high stability of scaling factor comprising a light source (2) supplying the two ends of a ring-shaped guide (1) and a sensor (6) receiving the two modal distributions which have traveled along the guide (1) in mutually inverse directions, the values Vdc, V1, and V2 representing the continuous components respectively incoherent, of the fundamental and of the order 1 harmonic, of the optical signal are used for establishing a quotient independent of the fluctuations of the components of the gyrometer and representing the scaling factor. These values are derived for the first detection and for the two others from the synchronous demodulation of the optical signal. The invention is useful for users and manufacturers of gyrometers.
