    Abstract: There is provided a publishing system for managing content of an article. The system enforces privileges of three agents, namely an author, an editor and a publisher. The author is permitted to create the content, and submit the content to the editor. The editor is permitted to edit the content, and selectively return the content to the author, or submit the content to the publisher. The publisher is permitted to selectively reject the content, or approve of the content for publication.
