Abstract: Disclosed herein is a smart lighting device equipped with a user interface capable of gesture recognition, the smart lighting device including: a main body provided with a light-emitting diode (LED) lighting unit; a sensing unit embedded in the main body, and configured to detect a gesture of a user's hand and to generate sensing information for the gesture; an integrated control unit embedded in the main body, and configured to control individual units so that a setting adjustment for any one of control modes, including at least any one of a brightness setting, color temperature setting, and timer setting of the LED lighting unit and ON/OFF control, corresponding to the sensing information can be made based on previously stored control information; and a power supply unit configured to supply an operating voltage so that the LED lighting unit, the sensing unit, and the integrated control unit can operate.
