Abstract: A dust filtering and collection system for filtering dust and other debris particles from an incoming dust laden air stream, such air stream generally being used for conveying granular material into or from a bulk tank trailer, a railroad car, or other conveying vehicle, the filtering system designed to be functioned by vacuum air pressure, operatively generated by a blower, to draw in the soiled air into the system, to cleanse such air for further use in the conveying of the granular material. The air flow may be reversed, to provide for a dislodging of any dust particles from the filtering system, and to cleanse the filter for further efficient usage of the system in conveying granular material into or out of the tank trailer, or other vehicle during usage.

Abstract: A composite elevated storage tank for smaller capacities having an improved anchorage connecting the steel tank to the reinforced concrete pedestal. The anchorage includes tank anchor assemblies and an insulator at a top surface of the concrete pedestal, with anchors embedded in the concrete. The steel tank includes a skirt and base plates welded to a bottom cone section of the tank. The skirt, base plates, and tank anchor assemblies enable the steel tank and the reinforced concrete pedestal to be constructed on-site simultaneously.

Abstract: A pressure and heat molded polymer tube, formed of miniscule polyethylene beads, each in the vicinity of 115 um powder in diameter, which when compression molded forms pores that are of uniform diameter throughout their length within the range of 5 um-10 um, the tube having an upper flange, that mates within a correspondently shaped grommet, which when applied to the transverse plate of an air filtration housing, functions to cleanse highly efficiently the dust particles and debris from the air being filtered, when passing through the filtration system, so that such purified air can be discharged safely.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling liquid flow to a turbine fogging array. Some implementations are generally directed toward adjusting the output of a variable output pump that supplies water to the turbine fogging array. In some of those implementations, the output is adjusted based on a determined target pump output value that is indicative of a pump output required to change the moisture content of intake air of a combustion turbine to meet a target humidity value. Some implementations are generally directed toward actuating at least one control valve of a plurality of control valves that control liquid throughput to one or more fogging nozzles of a fogging array.

Abstract: An alternative bottom drop and straight tee discharge from bulk tank conveying granular material, the tee having extensions for the automatic and manual operations of a disc valve, pivotally located within the horizontal section of the tee, during functioning. The disc valve may be manually operated, or pivoted through motorized operations, to allow for the alternative flow of bulk material from the vehicle hopper. The disc valve has an annular disc, integrally formed with upright supports, that are bearing mounted by shafts to the sidewalls of the structured tee.

Abstract: An unload elbow with spherical wear pocket is disclosed which comprises a body having an inlet end, an outlet end, and a spherical wear pocket formed near the outlet end. The spherical wear pocket is capable of trapping material that is being unloaded through the unload elbow to trap a portion of material being unloaded so that any other material being unloaded will contact the trapped material and not impact the wear pocket to prematurely wear out the unload elbow.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling liquid flow to a turbine fogging array. Abstract: The present invention is a tilt truck and related method of transporting a vertical tank utilizing the tilt truck. The tilt truck includes a tractor truck with a tilt platform rotatably connected to a chassis of the tilt truck which can be raised to an angle of more than 90 degrees with respect to the tilt truck. The tilt platform includes a sliding arm assembly with at least one grappler hook sized to receive and secure a tank lifting bar of a vertical tank. The tilt truck, utilizing the tilt platform and sliding arm assembly is capable of lowering a vertical tank from a vertical position to a horizontal position ready for transport by a single operator located within a cab section of the tilt truck. Similarly, the tilt truck can also raise a vertical tank from a horizontal position to a vertical position.

Abstract: A hopper tee having a horizontal portion through which granular material is unloaded from a tank trailer or hopper car, the hopper tee integrally forms a vertical segment, that secures with the bottom of the hopper, to provide for unloading of granular material for usage or storage. The upper front portion of the tee, as it transitions from its vertical segment to the horizontal flow path has secured or cast therewith a ledge, that provides for accumulation of the unloading granular material therein, to function as a wear pad to resist against abrasion and accelerated wear out of the tee, at that location, during prolonged usage.

Abstract: Floating roof tank for a volatile liquid have an outer roof and an internal floating roof with a primary seal with a support such that when the tank is empty, the floating roof will rest on the support whether the tank is in a vertical or horizontal position. The support enables the tank to be transported in a horizontal position without damage to the seal. The floating roof tank with support can be configured as a conical tank, flat bottom tank or slant bottom tank. The floating roof tank can also include a cleaning system and a flush mounted manway cover.

Some display links are enlarged relative to other portions. Some display links are contoured to match a curve of a digit such as a ring finger when the length is wound around the digit. A length can include coaxial elements connected to each other and are moveable in relation to each other. A length of the assembly is selected such that it fits securely around a digit of a particular user when wound an integer number of times. A size and a number of each link or length-building element are selectable to fit the assembly an integer number of times around a digit.

Abstract: A directional hopper tee has a fluted interior vertical pipe that merges into a horizontal pipe. The horizontal pipe has an inlet that may receive bulk material, and subject to pressurized air that conveys the bulk material through the hopper tee. Bulk material may be discharged from a hopper through the vertical pipe, for conveyance for discharge from the horizontal pipe of the tee. A closure gate or door is provided through the bottom of the tee, generally in alignment with the vertical pipe, to allow for discharge or dropping of the granular material directly downwardly through and from the tee. The arcuate door is hinged on one side, and is locked by a cam lock on the opposite side, when located into closure against the bottom of the tee, but can be forced opened, through its cam mechanism, to provide for opening of the arcuate door and allow a direct downward discharge of the granular bulk material, from any hopper, and through the drop opening of the tee, as required.

Abstract: The present invention is a tank transport system having a hydraulic tilt tank trailer and a vertical tank. The hydraulic tilt tank trailer includes a utility trailer and a tilt chassis having a tilt chassis frame, where tilt chassis is rotatably attached to the utility trailer. A hydraulic lift system is used to provide the mechanical force to tilt, or rotate, the tilt chassis. The vertical tank includes a hollow body supported by a base frame and a sled frame. To load the vertical tank, the vertical tank is positioned to rest on the sled frame and tilt chassis is tilted from the towing position to the loading/unloading position. The vertical tank is pulled onto the tilt chassis where only the sled frame is in contact with the tilt chassis. The tilt chassis is then tilted, or rotated, back into the towing position for transportation.

Abstract: A vertical hydraulic tank includes an upper cylindrical section and a lower conical section, with an outlet in the lower conical section. A lower multi-path manifold is attached to the outlet, the manifold including a vertical conduit in fluid communication with the outlet and a plurality of horizontal conduits in fluid communication with the vertical conduit. An upper multi-path manifold can also be attached to the tank with a plurality of upper horizontal conduits and a vertical conduit in fluid communication with the upper cylindrical section of the tank. Valves may be provided along the vertical conduit and the horizontal conduits to regulate flow of material through the conduits. A pump may be connected to either the upper manifold or the lower manifold, or both by way of a pump conduit. Multiple tanks can be connected together by way of tubing between the manifolds of each tank.

Abstract: An industrial tank transport system used to transport an industrial tank without the use of a trailer. The industrial tank transport system is comprised of four components; a semi-tractor truck, a removable lift system, a dolly, and a tank. When these four components are combined together, the tank can be transported without the use of a conventional semi-tractor trailer. Various combinations of these four components are used to practice the various methods of raising and lowering the tank between a horizontal position and vertical position using the semi-tractor truck, transporting the dolly using the removable lift system and semi-tractor truck, attaching and removing the removable lift system to the semi-tractor truck, and attaching and removing the dolly to and from the tank using the removable lift system and semi-tractor truck.
