  • Publication number: 20190314841
Abstract: A dispensing device dispenses a liquid held in a container. The device includes an engagement portion for the mutual engagement of the device and the container. Drawing and dispensing means draws the liquid from the container to dispense it. A main operating body operates the drawing and dispensing means through pressure exerted along a pressing direction. The main operating body moves with respect to the engagement portion, when subjected to pressure, between a rest position and an activating position. A dispensing nozzle is fixed to the main operating body and provided with a dispensing duct suited to dispense the liquid. The dispensing nozzle is switched from the main operating body, through a rotary movement, between a dispensing position and a non-dispensing position. Constraining means prevents the movement of the main operating body along the pressing direction when the dispensing nozzle is in the non-dispensing position.

  • Publication number: 20070241135
Abstract: A liquid dispensing pump for a portable container in which the pump piston is disposed for lost motion in the pump cylinder between the plunger rod and a discharge valve carried by a stem affixed to the plunger rod and extending through the piston. The piston has upwardly and downwardly presented elastomeric skirts of which the lower skirt seats against the discharge valve on the piston upstroke and the upper skirt seats against a venting valve at the termination of the upstroke. Both the discharge valve and the venting valve exert an expanding action on the respective piston skirts incident to their seating relation with the skirts under the resilient pressure of the pump spring, to counteract any shrinking tendency of the skirts, and means are provided for limiting the expansion of the skirts. The upper and lower ends of the piston are symmetrically arranged to permit reversal of its position in the pump.

  • Patent number: 7246723
Abstract: A pump for delivery of gas-liquid mixtures adapted to be connected to a container for a liquid comprising: suction means adapted to be reciprocated between a first rest position and a second position so as to collect the liquid from the container; a mixing chamber in communication with the suction means so that when the suction means are moved from a first position to a second position, the liquid is collected from the container and conveyed into a mixing chamber; elastic means adapted to displace the suction means back in the first position after that the suction means are moved from a first position to a second position. The elastic means define a variable volume gas chamber in communication with the mixing chamber so that, when the suction means are moved from a first position to a second position, the gas is conveyed into the mixing chamber and a gas-liquid mixture is formed in the mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 6715649
Abstract: The invention relates to a liquid delivery pump (1) connected to the neck of a container comprising: a cylindrical hollow body (2) defining a suction and compression chamber (5) communicating with outside through a liquid distribution channel (7); a manually actuated piston (8) slidingly coupled to said hollow body (2); elastic means (12) cooperating with a push button (83) connected to said piston; first valve means (13) adapted to connect said suction chamber (5) with a liquid suction tube (6); second valve means (14) adapted to connect said suction and compression chamber (5) with said distribution channel (7) during the delivery phase. Said distribution channel (7) has a first stationary part (71) made in the plug (23) and a second swinging part (30) consisting of a tube (13) having at the end facing the first stationary part (71) a substantially spherical body (32) whose outer surface closes the first stationary part when said second part is substantially perpendicular to the first part.

  • Patent number: 6672486
Abstract: The invention relates to a delivery pump to be coupled to the neck of a container filled with a liquid to be delivered comprising: a hollow body defining a suction and compression chamber for the liquid having a suction duct for the liquid, a tight piston sliding in the hollow body, a delivery duct for the liquid communicating with the suction and compression chamber; calve mechanism adapted to regulate inflow and outflow of liquid into and from the suction and compression chamber, elastic mechanism arranged between the tight piston and the hollow body. The delivery pump comprises first constraint mechanism fixed to the hollow body and selectively cooperating with second constraint means fixed to the tight piston to define the stroke of said tight piston. The stroke can be varied according to the mutual position of the first and second constraint mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6604693
Abstract: A spraying device for dispensing liquids which foam by deformation of a container. A first body is coupled is the neck of a container. The body forms a chamber where an air liquid mixture is produced. A filter is located over a spraying duct for producing foam as the liquid passes therethrough. A second body surrounds the first body and contains a measured volume of liquid which enters the chamber from the suction tube when the container is inverted.

  • Patent number: 6193112
Abstract: A dosing pump for supplying liquid or thick substances from containers. The dosing pump has a cylindrical chamber in communication with the container for receiving the liquid. The pump also has a cylindrical collar connecting the dosing pump with the container. The dosing pump also has sealing valves, a liquid dispenser and a hollow piston capable of sliding in the cylindrical chamber. The sliding piston has a tubular chamber with opposed radial guides to permit the piston to slide in the guide element. The dosing pump also has a recovery element for relocating the piston to a rest position after delivery of the liquid or thick substance is supplied. The piston has a guiding element sealed in the inner cylindrical chamber surrounding the piston having an inner cylindrical surface and longitudinal opposed radial grooves for receiving the guides therein. And the dosing pump has a striker plane having a shoulder that prevents rotation of the piston.
