Abstract: Disclosed devices for intranasal administration of medicament to a patient can comprise a hand-held unit comprising a gripping portion for being held by an operator, a spray head having a spray apparatus and a nozzle, a control unit coupled to the hand-held unit via at least one connecting tube, and one or more containers for holding medicaments. The at least one connecting tube can be flexible enough to enable easy maneuvering of the hand-held unit and rigid enough to prevent widening of the tube due to inner pressure when medicaments pass from the containers to the hand-held unit.
Abstract: An injection apparatus for sequentially injecting a patient with at least two medicaments may include a hand-held unit comprising a grip for being held by an operator, a single needle, a base unit coupled to the hand-held unit via at least one connecting tube, at least two containers for holding medicaments removably coupled to the base unit, and at least one pump. The at least one connecting tube can be flexible enough to enable easy maneuvering of the hand-held unit and rigid enough to prevent widening of the tube due to inner pressure when medicaments pass from the containers to the hand-held unit. The injection apparatus can be used to administer the at least two medicaments sequentially at different injection points.
Abstract: An injection apparatus for injecting a medicament into a patient, the injection apparatus has a stationary head and a movable head that is movable with respect to the stationary head. A needle is attached to a needle holder that is held by the movable head and by the stationary head. When the movable head is urged rearwardly, a front edge of the needle moves forwardly with respect to a front face of the movable head.
