    Abstract: A content sharing management system and an associated method for allowing a subscriber of a media platform to share media content available on the media platform as a gift or as a recommendation to a non-subscriber of the media platform is provided. The content sharing management system allows the non-subscriber to pay and consume only a recommended media content rather than needing to pay a hefty yearly subscription fee, thus enabling significant cost savings. The content sharing management system increases a subscription revenue of the media platform, and provides the subscriber with incentives for sharing media content to the non-subscriber. The content sharing management system further ensures that only the non-subscriber who purchased a particular media content or to whom the media content is gifted can access the media content via an associated secured access link, and prevents other non-subscribers from accessing the media content via the secured access link.

The current controller (132) determines a duty cycle of PWM gate signals used for controlling a rotor (104) speed within a particular sector (302A) of the motor (102) based on a reference quadrature-axis current and an actual quadrature-axis current. The PWM signal generator generates the PWM gate signals having the determined duty cycle, controls the rotor (104) speed, and incrementally varies a current speed of the motor (102) to achieve a target speed by modulating operations of a specific pair of inverter switches (502C and 502E) using the PWM gate signals.

    Abstract: A dispensing device is provided to dispense a designated amount of a material on every dose delivery operation. The dispensing device includes a thumb pad, a cam drum coupled to the thumb pad, and a pawl nut comprising a one-way pawl. The thumb pad may be pulled out in a direction away from a distal end of the dispensing device for setting a dose of the material to be dispensed out and may be pushed in towards the distal end for delivering the dose. The cam drum includes a plurality of linear cam profiles and a plurality of helical cam profiles that may be disposed on a surface of the cam drum. The one-way pawl may engage with a ratchet disposed at a distal end of the cam drum and may prevent a rotation of the cam drum in an undesired direction.
