Abstract: A three-dimensional metal structural assembly includes at least one composite strip having at least one transverse bend therein. The composite strip includes a web having a pair of longitudinal edges and a pair of edge pieces attached to the longitudinal edges. Alternatively a plurality of straight composite strips may be attached together to form a structural element. The composite strip may be used in an almost limitless number of configurations to form such things as pallets, shelves and floor grates. In addition, straight composite strips may be used to form such structural elements as H-shaped beams or C-shaped beams.
