Abstract: To broadcast synchronized radio waves in at least one frequency band in a predetermined territory, antennas (AS, ATI, AE) emit waves to respective coverage areas in which receivers (RQ, RB) measure characteristics of the emitted waves and transmit to a central server (SC) . The server analyzes the characteristics (CO) as a function of prediction models for broadcasting waves in the territory in order to determine adjustment parameters for the antennas. The server transmits the adjustment parameters to the antennas to control them in order to offer a greater diversity of radio broadcasting services and to optimize coverage areas according to different wave propagation modes.

Abstract: A method is provided for receiving a multicarrier signal including a time-based succession of symbols, each including a plurality of multicarriers bearing data, at least one of said symbols including at least one reference pilot. The method includes the following steps: a first estimation of a propagation channel, in accordance with a first estimating technique taking into account the or said reference pilots; at least one second estimation of said propagation channel, in accordance with a second estimating technique different from said first technique; comparing said first and second estimations, delivering an error signal; detecting at least one interfering signal in said propagation channel, by analyzing said error signal.

Abstract: Proof is established by means of the following parameters: m pairs of private values Q1 and public values G1 m>1, a public module n made of the product of f first factors pj, f>2, a public exponent v, linked to each other by relations of the type: G1.Qiv=1 mod n or G1=Q1v mod n. Said exponent v is such that v=2k where k>1 is a security parameter. Public value G1 is the square g12 of a base number gi that is lower than f first factors pj, so that the two equations: x2=gi mod n and x2=?g1 mod n do not have a solution in x in the ring of the modulo n integers and such that the equation xv=g12 mod n has solutions in x in the ring of the modulus n integers.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a radio broadcasting method for a first multicarrier digital signal occupying a first frequency band adjacent to at least one second frequency band, each assigned to a second signal. Pre-filtering is applied to the said first signal before its emission so as to attenuate the power of the said first signal in at least a first portion of the said first frequency band, adjacent to the said second frequency band(s).
Abstract: The present invention relates to searching content, particularly for at least one extract common to a first data file and a second data file.
Abstract: The proof is provided by means of the following parameters: a public module n formed by the product of f prime factors pi, f>2; a public superscript v; m base numbers gi, m>1. The base numbers gi are such that the two equations: x2?gi mod n and x2??gi mod n cannot de solved in x in the ring of integers modulo n, and such that the equation xv?gi2 mod n can be solved in x in the ring of integers modulo n in the case where the public superscript v is in the form v=2k, wherein k is a security parameter.
Abstract: A method is provided for estimating a propagation channel composed of successive symbols of a multicarrier signal, each comprising at least one reference pilot and a plurality of data-carrying frequencies. Such a method comprises, in particular, at least one step consisting of correcting the at least one reference pilot on the basis of a first estimation of a propagation channel, in order to provide a second, more precise estimation of said channel.
Abstract: A method for filtering a time signal (e(t)) sampled in blocks of N samples (e(n),e(k)) uses a transfer function defined in the frequency domain by LN samples (H(K)). The transfer function is filtered by a time window (g1) of width N, and a frequency subsampling of ratio N is performed to give a partial transfer function defined over N samples (H1(k)). The method enables the complexity of circuits operating in real time to be optimized. The technique is particularly suitable for correcting long echoes in television picture receivers.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an improved method and apparatus for a forward extrusion piercing which is able to pierce a long through-hole of slenderness (length/hole diameter) 5 or the like in a hot blank with a high accuracy by one stroke of the piercing punch so as to produce hollow metallic products. In the process, a hot blank forged with a determined outer shape is set on a lower die, and an upper die assembly is provided with the piercing punch, a holding guide and an upper die coaxially with the lower die. Downward movement of the upper die assembly enables the holding guide to hold the blank and then the punch moves down with a retention by a through-hole of the holding guide through which the punch passes, against transverse displacement of the punch. The tip of the punch is adapted to enter a through-hole of a receiver die at its lower stroke end in order to cut off redundant piece of the blank.

Abstract: A neural network system is provided that includes a network of neural operators pilot controlled by a control unit. The activities calculated by the operators are memorized in associated memory spaces that are addressable by an activity address. To facilitate reconfiguring the network, the memory space of at least one portion of the operators contains the activity addresses of other operators of the network. Hence, the input activities of these operators may be issued from any other operators in a way that is modifiable by simply changing the values of the activity addresses. The invention is particularly suited to image and sound analysis and synthesis.

Abstract: A cryogenic vibratory mill designed to receive cooling fluid such as liquid nitrogen within a grinding chamber for grinding of feed material such as crumb rubber from vehicle tires for cryogenic comminution within a grinding chamber. Cooling within the grinding chamber is achieved by passing cooling fluid such as liquid nitrogen therethrough wherein most of the cooling fluid passes through longitudinal channels formed longitudinally in the cylindrically shaped grinding rods. The operating temperature is normally less than -120 degrees Fahrenheit. A vibrating drive is operative to vibrate the housing and the grinding rods therein to achieve comminution of the feed stock rubber passing therethrough. With this design most of the cooling is achieved by passing of the cooling fluid through the channels defined in the grinding rods with only a minimum amount of cooling achieved by cooling fluid passing through the grinding chamber between the rods.
