Abstract: A lower enclosure supports and protects a child's lower body and legs, and an upper enclosure supports and protects a child's head and shoulders. The lower and upper enclosures each have a bottom and each bottom is fixed to two side walls. A hinge connects the bottoms of the lower enclosure and the upper enclosure. Positioners position the enclosures relative to each other in a sitting position, with the bottoms making an obtuse angle, and a lying position, with the bottoms approximately in one plane. The positioners have a brace supporting the side walls and the bottoms.

Abstract: A device for transporting a child in a child seat includes a main frame for supporting the child seat, a swivable push bar for pushing the main frame from different sides, and pivotable wheels or wheel sets for supporting the main frame whereby the wheels or wheel sets are provided with pivot locks and brakes. The push bar has a brake handle for activating the brakes and the device includes a mechanism for activating the pivot locks of the wheels or wheel sets under the push bar and for simultaneously coupling only the brakes on these wheels or wheel sets with the brake handle.

Abstract: A child seat for transporting a child in a car includes a seat support with a support bottom and a support back which extends above the support bottom, a seat frame that has harness belts for holding the child against the seat frame, and slides between the seat support and the seat frame for coupling the seat frame in adjustable tilt positions to the seat support, which slides include an upper slide for connecting the upper or shoulder part of the seat frame to the support back and a lower slide for connecting the lower or bottom part of the seat frame to the support bottom. In accordance with the invention on both sides of the seat frame the seat support includes a diagonal bar for connecting the forward part of the support bottom to the support back above or at the height of the upper slide.
