Abstract: A computer implemented method for generating an augmented image includes the steps of detecting a user input representing a shape and a position of a spatially extended 2D object and of calculating 3D coordinates of a point of interest that is associated with the 2D object. This calculation comprises the steps of calculating a 3D centroid of a first 3D object that is derived from the 2D object, and/or of performing a 2D pattern recognition algorithm that analyses the 2D object. Then 3D coordinates of a second 3D object are calculated, thereby assuming that the second 3D object is located at the same distance from the camera as the point of interest.

Abstract: A method for enhancing an audio signal in a full duplex communication system includes the steps of: a) receiving a far end audio signal from a communication input; b) forwarding the far end audio signal to an audio speaker; c) receiving a near end audio signal from a microphone; d) performing an echo reduction on the received near end audio signal; e) forwarding the near end audio signal after the echo reduction to a communication output; f) determining whether a residual echo still exists in the near end audio signal after the echo reduction; and g) attenuating the near end audio signal or deactivating its forwarding to the communication output if the existence of residual echo is determined.

Abstract: A method for authenticating smart glasses in a data network includes transmitting a message to an authentication computer of the data network, generating a first transaction code and transmitting to the smart glasses, reading authorization data of a user, without involving the smart glasses, into the data network and processing by the authentication computer, which carries out an authentication of the user on the basis of the authorization data, and in case of a successful authentication, reading a second transaction code into the data network, wherein if a check performed by the authentication computer shows that the second transaction code matches the first, an access right is provided for the smart glasses and stored in the smart glasses, the access right enabling the smart glasses to access one or a plurality of predetermined services in the data network.
