Abstract: Grain crushing apparatuses for processing grain are disclosed. In one embodiment, a grain crushing apparatus includes a first and second sidewall spaced apart from one another a throat dimension in a first direction, and a first and second support shaft positioned transverse to the first and sidewall. The first and second support shaft are each configured to rotate about an axis of rotation. The grain crushing apparatus also includes a first and second grain crushing roller. Each of the grain crushing rollers include a plurality of teeth extending from a root a tooth height. The first and second grain crushing rollers are intermeshed with one another such the first and second grain crushing roller are maintained at positions spaced apart from one another in a second direction normal to the first direction by an overlap distance less than the tooth height.
