Abstract: A socket-mounted illuminating and air freshening device which is adapted to be supported on a conventional electrical wall outlet socket to provide, alternatively or simultaneously, illumination and circulation of air through an air freshening material. The device of the invention is light weight and is inexpensive to operate even in simultaneous illumination and air circulating modes. The device is capable of a wide versatility of use and may be oriented in any direction for effective operation.
Abstract: A ducted air ventilator device having changeable lighting elements. A vaneless diffuser fan circulates air through the unit and cools the elements thereof. The device may be mounted directly to any standard electrical junction box or directly to any standard electrical socket. Alternatively, the device may be mounted to a mounting plate having plug type electrical sockets which is secured to a standard electrical junction box and facilitates rapid installation thereof, or the device having a split electrical socket which is secured to a standard electrical junction box. Either the fan or the light may be operated individually or both may be operated simultaneously. The device may be operated as either a ventilator exhausting air to the exterior of the room and the like or a circulation device circulating air in the room.
Abstract: A ductless air treating device having changeable air treating and lighting elements. A vaneless diffuser fan circulates air through the unit and cools the elements thereof. The unit is mounted directly to any standard electrical junction box or alternatively, to any standard electrical socket. Adjustable aligning spacers align the ductless ventilator with the mounting surface. The fan or the light may be operated individually or together simultaneously.
Abstract: A mixed flow fan assembly including a rotating mounted impeller having a plurality of blades. An orifice member is mounted adjacent the tip of the blades to form an orifice area to receive air drawn in by an impeller in a first direction. A vaneless diffuser is created by an outlet diffuser element and a spaced plate to receive air drawn by the impeller and discharge air expandably and outwardly in a direction perpendicular thereto. The plate, outlet diffuser element and orifice member in various embodiments are selectively attached to the blade to rotate therewith or be stationary in relation thereto.
Abstract: A disposable packet, containing an air freshening medium, and formed with securing elements such that the packet may be positioned and retained in an air stream for removing contaminants and offensive odors from the air and discharging a filtered scented fragrance.
