Abstract: A smart nozzle system for a hair dryer includes a proximity detection circuit, a temperature sensing circuit, a speed detection circuit, and a rotating nozzle vane, among other features. The nozzle includes a microcontroller and a wireless communication module to interface with an external computing device via an application. Also included is a camera, a timer, a fluid dispenser, and a therapeutic UV light. The power supply can be a dynamo powered by air flowing through the nozzle. The nozzle can be an add-on to existing hair dryers or can be integral with a hair dryer system.
