Abstract: An ambient air breathing device for use in combination with a full face mask. Full face masks are intended to be sealed around periphery of the face of the wearer and, therefore, require that the wearer breath on tanked air even before such air would be necessary to sustain life. The breathing device of the invention allows the wearer to breathe ambient air thus conserving otherwise supplied air for use when needed.
Abstract: An adapter for connecting a plurality of different manufacturers' second stage regulators to commercially available full face masks for use in self contained breathing situations.
Abstract: Compositions and a method are described which possess utility for the application of a corrosion-resistant surface to an object of interest. The composition of the subject invention includes a polymeric solution, emulsion or dispersion, and a compatible dispersion which are combined with water to form a bath. The objects of interest to be coated are thereafter quenched in the bath.
