  • Publication number: 20260268743
Abstract: A pull-tab-ticket vending machine is configured to automatically redeem a prize-winning pull-tab ticket in the form of a cash prize and/or purchase credits, as selected by the player. In some examples, the pull-tab-ticket vending machine includes an integrated voucher printer paired with a separate prize-redemption device, whereby, in response to the player selecting a “cash” option, the printer generates and prints a paper voucher bearing a scannable code that, when scanned by the prize-redemption device, causes the prize-redemption device to dispense the user's cash prize.

  • Patent number: 5529208
Abstract: The present invention includes a jar ticket dispensing apparatus and method for dispensing jar tickets in response to an operator input. The invention includes an enclosed drum for containing the tickets. A support means supports the drum for rotation thereof. The drum is adapted to be rotated by an electric motor or other conventional device. A control means controls the dispensing of tickets in response to an input of money to the apparatus. The tickets are dispensed by rotating the drum causing the tickets contained therein to come into magnetic contact with a plurality of magnets residing on the drum and to be releasably secured thereto. Dispensing occurs when the magnetically attached ticket encounters a stripper which strips the ticket from the magnet. The dispensed ticket falls into a dispensing chute which dispenses the ticket to the operator.

  • Patent number: 5344199
Abstract: A gaming machine for distribution of a prize includes a display cabinet which includes a prize display section having at least one transparent surface for allowing exterior viewing of a prize held therein. Access doors are provided on the prize display section, the access doors being releasably locked in a closed position by a locking device. A random number generator generates a random number which is compared an input number input by a user through an input device such as a keyboard. A comparison device outputs a first signal if the random number and input number are equal, and a second signal if the random number and input number are unequal. If the comparison device outputs a first signal, the locking device disengages, thus providing immediate access to a prize held within the prize display section.
