Abstract: A meta crosslinked polar benzyl polymer is made by combining a transition metal crosslinker, or one or more source compounds capable of reacting to form such a transition metal crosslinker, with a polar benzyl polymer which has been activated for meta crosslinking
Abstract: An improved proppant and a method of increasing the conductivity of the fractures of subterranean formations is described. The proppant contains a mixture of bondable particles and removable particles. The bondable particles within a subterranean formation, adhere to adjacent bondable particles to form a permanent, self-supporting matrix and the removable particles from the self supporting matrix the ambient conditions of the fracture. The conductivity of the fracture and the overall productivity of the hyraulic operation is increased.

Abstract: The present invention relates to resin coated particulates, the process of forming the particulates, and the particulates' utilization in petroleum well completions. More particularly, the present invention comprises the resin coated particulates and the process whereby the high strength particulate substrates are coated with a heat curable resin which is reacted with a formaldehyde source-metal compound (FS-MC) complex. The resultant resin coated particulates are less reactive or interactive with the fluids employed to convey those particulates during petroleum well completion operations.
