Abstract: Hand truck with an adjustable wheel axle suitable for manual transport of heavy objects, comprising: an elongate and substantially planar main frame, a load plate fixedly connected to the front side of the main frame and at the lower end, an axle suspension comprising a rigid body which is fixedly connected to the rear side of the main frame and close to the lower end; a wheel axle, both ends of which are provided with a wheel and which is disposed rotatably inside the axle suspension, wherein the axle suspension comprises a guide for guiding the wheel axle over a path between a low and a high stop.
