Patent number: 5836210Abstract: An arm bearing for an awning has at least one support block, at least one bearing block arranged to swivel about a first rotation axle into a drop-out position, and an arm rotatable about a second rotation axle transversely to said first rotation axle. A threaded coupling rod couples the support block and the bearing block for tilting movement of the bearing block. An adjustable nut is coupled to the threaded coupling rod for limiting the tilting movement of the bearing block within variable limits. At least one lock is coupled to the arm and is transversely displaceable to the threaded coupling rod for locking engagement with the adjusting nut. The adjusting nut has at least one recess or projection arranged approximately radially with respect to the threaded coupling rod for locking engagement with the lock. An eccentric cam is rigidly connected to the arm for positively controlling displacement of the lock.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 1995Date of Patent: November 17, 1998Assignee: Technolizenz EstablishmentInventor: Viktor Lohausen

Patent number: 5509321Abstract: The invention relates to a toothed gear as used in particular for drives of pivoting devices, for example in articulated-arm awnings or windows. One shaft (5) is supported, over a support zone (10), on the other shaft (3), with the result that toothed gears according to the invention are very compact and are stable to blows and impacts.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 1994Date of Patent: April 23, 1996Assignee: Technolizenz EstablishmentInventor: Viktor Lohausen

Patent number: 5492162Abstract: The invention provides a fitting section for an articulated-arm awning. The fitting section supports various securing and moving components of an awning. Fitting sections according to the invention have at least one or two grooves. A tenon block is inserted into each groove for securing the fitting section to a bearer arm, or for fixing different securing and moving components to the fitting section. The grooves have projections which cooperate with recesses in the tenon blocks. The fitting sections provided are thus small and rotationally and torsionally rigid. The fitting sections can be universally used and stiffened to various degrees.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 1994Date of Patent: February 20, 1996Assignee: Technolizenz EstablishmentInventor: Viktor Lohausen

Patent number: 5381992Abstract: A mounting device for an articulated-arm awning has a bracket, a bearing block for at least one articulated arm and means for mounting a fabric shaft attachable to the mounting tube/hollow section. The mounting tube/hollow section includes a first chamber, a second chamber above the first chamber for holding an adjusting mechanism, a back having a continuous stepped hole for a retaining bolt for attaching the bearing block and at least one approximately hook-shaped mounting device. The bracket has at least one hook-shaped mounting device complementary to the mounting device on the mounting tube/hollow section.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 1993Date of Patent: January 17, 1995Assignee: Technolizenz EstablishmentInventor: Viktor Lohausen

Patent number: 5035377Abstract: In order to increase the lift supporting underpressure force on top of the inlet fairing of a shrouded fan of a lifting engine and in order to reduce the negative lift generating force of the inlet momentum acting on the rotor area of the fan, a particular geometry of the inlet fairing contour in connection with a particular twist of the fan rotor blades (3) is applied. This results in large differences of static pressures between front side and rear side of the fan at outer radii and there will be more small pressure difference at inner radii. This causes an apparent small change of the blade angle .beta. along a mean radial range of the rotor blades. Guide vanes ( 25) which might follow downstream of the fan rotor blades in some design cases, will have an arrangement of radial twist distribution mirror symmetrical to that of the rotor blades.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 1988Date of Patent: July 30, 1991Assignee: Technolizenz EstablishmentInventor: Benno E. Patent number: 4927045Abstract: Explosion-preventing tank safety elements (TSE) are provided for filling containers for explosible fluid and gas media while avoiding enlarging, transforming, cutting or welding the tanks. The loading of the elements is possible simply through the filling pipe or outlet opening or each container.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 1988Date of Patent: May 22, 1990Assignee: Technolizenz EstablishmentInventor: Helmut J. Patent number: 4760443Abstract: For the purpose of simultaneous presentation of an information on a display array (6) a display means has an image movement device (12,13), with the aid of which the image of the display array can be aimed in different directions, preferably along a circle. In addition, an optical bundling system (15) is provided which aims the image in one certain direction only, depending on the momentary position of the image movement device (12,13). Against the viewer a transparent screen (18;58) is provided.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 1986Date of Patent: July 26, 1988Assignee: Technolizenz EstablishmentInventor: Jan Secka
