Abstract: Disclosed are an array substrate and a preparation method thereof, and a digital microfluidic chip. The preparation method includes: forming a plurality of photoelectric detection devices on a silicon-based substrate; transferring the photoelectric detection devices to a base substrate by adopting a micro transfer printing process; and forming a plurality of transparent driving electrodes on the base substrate, wherein the transparent driving electrodes are insulated from the photoelectric detection devices.
Abstract: A substrate includes a base, a pixel defining layer, a plurality of electrode pairs, and a plurality of light-emitting devices. The pixel defining layer is disposed on the base, and includes a plurality of through holes. At least one electrode pair includes a first electrode and a second electrode that are disposed at least on a hole wall of one of the through holes and at least partially opposite to each other, and the first electrode and the second electrode are insulated from each other. One of the plurality of light-emitting devices includes a liquid functional layer disposed in the through hole. The liquid functional layer is in direct contact with the first electrode and the second electrode. The liquid functional layer includes a liquid light-emitting layer configured to emit light.
Abstract: There is provided a method for embedding a digital watermark into and extracting a digital watermark from a numerical data set. In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a method for embedding a digital watermark into a numerical data set. The method includes selecting portions of the numerical data set identified as data noise, the selected portions to be used for embedding the digital watermark into the numerical data set, the digital watermark being unique for each recipient of the numerical data. The method further includes replacing the least significant bit (LSB) of at least some of the selected portions of the numerical data set with at least portion of the digital watermark.
Abstract: A method of video processing includes determining, for a conversion of a block of a video picture in a video and a bitstream representation of the video, gradients of a subset of samples in a region for a classification operation in a filtering process. The region has a dimension of M×N and the block has a dimension of K×L, M, N, K, L being positive integers. The block is located within the region. The method also includes performing the conversion based on the determining.

Abstract: A posture measuring device, an intelligent cushion and an intelligent seat are disclosed. The sitting posture measuring device comprises two fiber optic sensors; a signal processing unit electrically connected to the two fiber optic sensors respectively; and a power supply unit electrically connected to the signal processing unit. The sitting posture measuring device further comprises a prompting unit and/or a wireless communications unit electrically connected to the signal processing unit. The two fiber optic sensors are configured from left to right or from front to back. The fiber optic sensors detect changes in optical signals generated from changes in surface pressure on the sensors, and the signal processing unit analyzes a posture of a user on the basis of changes in optical signals generated from changes in surface pressure on the sensors.

A system for controlling an electronic board includes: a display screen, a data receiving circuit, a control circuit and a communication circuit, wherein the data receiving circuit is configured to receive first board data, where the first board data is unique data of the electronic board, the control circuit is configured to generate to-be-displayed board content according to the first board data and the second board data, the second board data is background template data, and the board content is content in a picture format; the communication circuit is configured to send the board content generated by the control circuit to one or more electronic boards.
Abstract: Systems and methods for transmitting uplink control information, for example ACK/NACK, while in RRC_inactive state, are provided. Uplink control information is transmitted while in RRC_INACTIVE state by transmitting a sequence from a set of possible sequences to convey the uplink control information, the transmitted sequence associated with a value of the uplink control information. The sequence is asynchronously transmitted. Signalling may be used to configure a transmission resource within which to transmit the sequence, wherein the transmission resource has a time duration that is longer than a time duration to transmit the sequence. This has the effect of introducing a gap following sequence transmission that can ensure the sequence transmission does not interfere with a data transmission.
Abstract: A communication circuit is disclosed. The communication circuit includes a clock input, and a clock divider configured to generate an output clock signal having a fundamental frequency which is substantially equal to a fundamental frequency of an input clock signal received at the clock input divided by a factor of (2N+1)/2N, where the clock divider is configured to generate 2N+1 pre-aligned phase shifted clock signals based at least in part on the input clock signal, generate 2N unique phase shifted clock signals based at least in part on the 2N+1 pre-aligned phase shifted clock signals, where the 2N unique phase shifted clock signals are substantially separated in phase by 360/2N degrees, and generate the output clock signal based at least in part on the 2N unique phase shifted clock signals, and a mixer, configured to receive the output clock signal.

Abstract: Embodiments of the application provide a method for transmitting data in a wireless communication network. A device of the network receives a bit sequence of K information bits. The device polar codes the bit sequence to obtain a first encoded sequence, wherein a length of the first encoded sequence is N, and N is greater than or equal to K. The device block interleaves the first encoded sequence to obtain an interleaved bit sequence. The device determines a transmission code rate R. When the transmission code rate R is less than the code rate threshold, the device outputs a second bit sequence. The length of the second bit sequence is M, M is smaller than N. The second bit sequence is punctured from the interleaved bit sequence by removing (N?M) bits from beginning of the interleaved bit sequence.

Abstract: A processor-implemented method and system for determining a predictive occupancy grid map (OGM) for an autonomous vehicle are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a set of OGMs including a current predicted OGM and one or more future predicted OGMs, the current OGM associated with a current timestamp and each future predicted OGM associated with a future timestamp; generating a weight map associated with the current timestamp based on one or more kinodynamic parameters of the vehicle at the current time stamp, and one or more weight map associated with a future timestamp; generating a set of filtered predicted OGMs by filtering the current predicted OGM with the weight map associated the current timestamp and filtering each respective future predicted OGM associated with a future timestamp with the weight map associated with the respective future timestamp; and sending a single predicted OGM to a trajectory generator.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a system and method used for allowing a path selection or reselection (hereby (re)selection). In some embodiments data packets for a session between a UE and an application system (AS) can utilize a pre-established user plane path between the AS and an access node (AN) which serves the UE. This can allow for faster session set-up times as a new user plane (UP) path need not be established for every new session if existing UP paths can be utilized. Some embodiments allow an application aware (re)selection of the user plane.
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for performing video retrieval together with video grounding. A word-based query for a video is and encoded into a query representation using a trained query encoder. One or more similar video representations are identified, from a plurality of video representations that are similar to the query representation. Each similar video representation represents a respective relevant video. A grounding is generated for each relevant video by forward propagating each respective similar video representation together with the query representation through a trained grounding module. The relevant videos or identifiers of the relevant videos are outputted together with the grounding generated for each relevant video.
Abstract: Memory device includes a bottom-select-gate (BSG) structure formed on a substrate. Cut slits are formed vertically through the BSG structure. A cell-layers structure is formed on the BSG structure. Gate-line slits are formed vertically through the cell-layers structure and the BSG structure, into the substrate and arranged along a first lateral direction to distinguish finger regions. The gate-line slits include a first gate-line slit between first and second finger regions, the first gate-line slit including gate-line sub-slits. The cut slits include a first cut-slit, formed in the second finger region and connecting to a gate-line sub-slit to define a BSG in a first portion of the second finger region. The BSG in the first portion of the second finger region is electrically connected to cell strings in the first finger region through an inter portion between the one gate-line sub-slit and an adjacent gate-line sub-slit.
