Abstract: Embodiments are directed to organizing conversation information. A tracker vocabulary may be provided to a universal model to predict a generalized vocabulary associated with the tracker vocabulary. A tracker model may be generated based on the portions of the universal model activated by the tracker vocabulary such that a remainder of the universal model may be excluded from the tracker model. Portions of a conversation stream may be provided to the tracker model. A match score may be generated based on the track model and the portions of the conversation stream such that the match score predicts if the portions of the conversation stream may be in the generalized vocabulary predicted for the tracker vocabulary. Tracker metrics may be collected based on the portions of the conversation and the match scores such that the tracker metrics may be included in reports or notifications.

Abstract: A system includes a housing for a gas turbine engine, and a fan disposed in the housing to rotate coaxially with a gas turbine included in the housing. The system also includes an inlet guide vane disposed in the housing in axial alignment with the fan and configured to have an open position where a first flow of air is received by the fan through the inlet guide vane, and a closed position where airflow through the inlet guide vane is obstructed. The system further includes a heat exchanger disposed in a supply passage in fluid communication with a second flow of air received by the fan. The second flow of air is received by the fan via the supply passage with the inlet guide vane in the open position or in the closed position.

Abstract: A method for packaging a semiconductor device includes the steps of: disposing a wafer on a first carrier plate; attaching a second carrier plate to a side of the first carrier plate opposite to the wafer; disposing a chip unit on a side of the wafer opposite to the first carrier plate; and covering the wafer and the chip unit with an encapsulation layer. A semiconductor packaging structure is also disclosed.

Abstract: An articulation system (1) for interconnecting first and second vehicle units of an articulated road vehicle comprises a central element (2) including a vertical cylinder with left and right arcuate walls (4) extending between two facing openings. First and second interconnecting structures (5) are joined to the central element (2) and are adapted to be respectively attached to the first and second vehicle units on opposed sides of the central element (2). Each interconnecting structure has a pitch joint member (5a) and a yaw joint member (5b). The pitch joint member (5a) has a frame (7) perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of a corresponding one of the first and second vehicle units and a pitch hinge mechanism (6) at a floor level to interconnect with the corresponding one of the first and second vehicle units.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for host side memory address management are described. In some examples, a host system may identify a read request that includes a logical address of a block of a memory device. The read request may be associated with a descriptor indicating a page of a cache of the host system. The host system may determine to assign a descriptor to a page of the cache, and may recycle one or more pages of the cache. In some examples, the host system may determine whether the page indicated by the descriptor includes a mapping between the logical address and a physical address of the memory device, and may issue a read command to the memory device based on the page including the mapping.

Abstract: Systems and methods for avoiding illegal stopping zones are provided. In example embodiments, a networked system identifies a destination of a driver providing a transportation service to a user. The networked system monitors a user device of the driver, and infers, based on the monitoring, that the driver is planning to stop in an illegal stopping zone located a predetermined distance to the destination. The inference is based on device data such as accelerometer data or location data that is triangulated with known or derived illegal stopping zones. In response, the networked system causes presentation of a notification on a user interface of the device of the driver. The notification provides an indication of the illegal stopping zone. In some embodiments, the notification also provides an alternative stopping location determined by the networked system.

Abstract: Some embodiments include a method of forming an assembly (e.g., a memory array). A first opening is formed through a stack of alternating first and second levels. The first levels contain silicon nitride, and the second levels contain silicon dioxide. Some of the silicon dioxide of the second levels is replaced with memory cell structures. The memory cell structures include charge-storage regions adjacent charge-blocking regions. Tunneling material is formed within the first opening, and channel material is formed adjacent the tunneling material. A second opening is formed through the stack. The second opening extends through remaining portions of the silicon dioxide, and through the silicon nitride. The remaining portions of the silicon dioxide are removed to form cavities. Conductive regions are formed within the cavities. The silicon nitride is removed to form voids between the conductive regions. Some embodiments include memory arrays.

Abstract: A method and device for out-of-order cryptographic processing to eliminate or ameliorate data dependency stalls, in the cryptographic pipeline of a data storage device, resulting from the application of cipher text stealing. A cryptographic processing pipeline performs the steps of: a) cryptographically process a penultimate data block, to produce a penultimate processed data block, and store a portion of the penultimate processed data block in the memory store; b) cryptographically process at least one leading data block, to produce at least one processed leading data block; and c) cryptographically process a concatenation of a last data block and the portion of the penultimate processed data block, to produce a last processed data block, wherein the cryptographic processing pipeline starts to perform step b) before completing step a).

Abstract: Techniques for improving communications efficiency between pairs of communication nodes running within a computer system are described herein. Potential locations for placing a communication node are evaluated using one or more fitness values wherein the fitness value is based at least in part on one or more system metrics associated with placing a communication node in the potential location. If an improved location is found based on the fitness value, the communication node may be migrated to the new location, thus improving system efficiency.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for receiving, analyzing, organizing and presenting data stored on a mobile communication device. In one embodiment of the present invention, the data is organized by application-type and is searchable. In one embodiment, the system may be configured to generate first and second search results from a first search term entered by a reviewer, where the first search result includes at least a first record from a first application, the second search result includes at least a second record from a second application, and both records are displayed to the reviewer at the same time. In performing the search, the first record should match the first search term and the second record should match a second search term, where the second is identified by the system and is related to but different from the first search term.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a memory component having a plurality of ball grid array (BGA) components, wherein each respective one of the BGA components includes a plurality of memory blocks and a BGA component controller and firmware adjacent the plurality of memory blocks to manage the plurality of memory blocks. The apparatus further includes a processing device, included in the memory component, to perform memory operations on the BGA components.

Abstract: This document describes systems, methods and apparatus for locating an object and/or processed versions of that object in a CDN cache system. When a CDN server needs to send a forward request to an origin server to retrieve an object, the CDN server can append a ‘cache hint’ (sometimes referred to herein as a pointer or as ‘reverse cookie’) to its request. The cache hint preferably includes information that will be stored at the origin server and provided to other CDN servers that subsequently ask for the same object. Preferably the information is a pointer that will enable the object to be located within the CDN and/or enable the location of modified version of the object that have already been created and stored within the CDN.

Abstract: A system and method for wirelessly providing power to independent movers traveling along a track includes a sliding transformer to transfer power between the track and each mover. The sliding transformer includes a primary winding extending along the track and a secondary winding mounted to each mover. Each of the primary and secondary windings may be formed of a single coil or multiple coils. The primary and secondary windings are generally aligned with each other and extend along the track and along the mover in the direction of travel with an air gap present between the windings. A power converter on the mover may regulate the power supplied to the mover to control an actuator or a sensor mounted on the mover or to activate drive coils mounted on the mover to interact with magnets mounted along the track and, thereby, control motion of each mover.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses to image particles are described. A plurality of illuminating light beams propagating on multiple optical paths through a particle field are generated. The plurality of illuminating light beams converge at a measurement volume. A shadow image of a particle passing through a portion of the measurement volume at a focal plane of a digital camera is imaged. Shadow images of other particles in the particle field are removed using the plurality of illuminating light beams.

Abstract: System and methods are provided for presenting a video of an item via a network page of an electronic marketplace provider. The video may depict the item in motion. The video frames may be included as part of an image file (e.g., a sprite sheet) such that presentation of the video at a user interface requires only a single download of the image file. A navigational interface may be provided to manipulate the playback of the video. Additional images may be provided with the video that individually depict stationary views of the item. The user may navigate between the navigational interface of the video and a number of selection elements corresponding to the additional images. Thus, efficiency of providing a video of an item is improved as is the ease of navigating between videos and images within an item detail page.
