Patent number: 11556275Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for using page line filler data are described. In some examples, a memory system may store data within a write buffer of the memory system. The memory system may initiate an operation to transfer the write buffer data to a memory device, for example, due to a command to perform a memory management operation (e.g., cache synchronization, context switching, or the like) from a host system. In some examples, a quantity of write buffer data may fail to satisfy a data size threshold. Thus, the memory system may aggregate the data in the write buffer with valid data from a block of the memory device associated with garbage collection. The memory system may aggregate the write buffer data with the garbage collection data until the aggregated data satisfies the data size threshold. The memory system may then write the aggregated data to the memory device.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2021Date of Patent: January 17, 2023Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.Inventors: Nicola Colella, Antonino Pollio, Gianfranco Ferrante

Patent number: 11557974Abstract: A high-voltage (HV) power supply outputs an output voltage based on a control signal produced by a dual analog/digital feedback loop. The control signal is determined at least in part by an error amplifier that receives a measurement signal, proportionally attenuated from the output voltage, and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) output signal. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) also receives the measurement signal and transmits it in digitized form to a digital processor. The digital processor calculates a digital DAC data signal based on the measurement signal, and on a digital set-point input signal corresponding to a set-point voltage value of the output voltage desired to be outputted from the high-voltage source. A DAC receives the DAC data signal and converts it to the DAC output signal transmitted to the error amplifier.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2021Date of Patent: January 17, 2023Assignee: AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventor: David Deford

Patent number: 11556535Abstract: A database system comprised of a decoupled compute layer and storage layer is implemented to store, build, and maintain a canonical dataset, a temporary buffer, and an edits dataset. The canonical dataset is a set of batch updated data. The data is appended in chunks to the canonical dataset such that the canonical dataset becomes a historical dataset over time. The buffer is a write ahead log that contains the most recent chunks of data and provides atomicity and durability for the database system. The edits dataset is the set of data that contains edits such as cell mutations, row appends and/or row deletions. The database system enables users to make cell or row-level edits to tables and observe those edits in analytical systems or downstream builds with minimal latency.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2021Date of Patent: January 17, 2023Assignee: Palantir Technologies Inc.Inventors: Mark Elliot, Joseph Ellis, Rahij Ramsharan, Matthew Sills, Lawrence Manning
