Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) NAND memory devices and methods are provided. In one aspect, a fabrication method includes depositing a cover layer over a substrate, depositing a layer stack over the cover layer, performing a first epitaxial growth to deposit a first epitaxial layer on a side portion of a channel layer that extends through the layer stack, removing the cover layer to expose a portion of the substrate, performing a second epitaxial growth to deposit a second epitaxial layer on the portion of the substrate, and performing a third epitaxial growth to deposit a third epitaxial layer on the second epitaxial layer. The second and third epitaxial layers are configured to provide separate electrical current paths for an erase operation and a read operation.

Abstract: An adaptive joystick preferably includes a rotatable cylinder bar, an outer base ring, an inner ring and an industrial joystick base. An adaptive controller receives an output from the adaptive joystick and outputs a control signal to a valve solenoid to control a hydraulic cylinder. Angle, depth and pressure sensors are preferably used to monitor a position of the hydraulic cylinder. The sensor outputs are fed into the adaptive controller. An inward wrist curl of the rotatable cylinder bar combined with a forearm pull rearward of the outer base ring are used to cause a digging motion. An outward wrist curl of the rotatable cylinder bar combined with a forearm push forward of the outer base ring are used to cause a dumping motion. A hand movement to the left is associated with swinging the excavator left. A hand movement to the right is associated to swinging the excavator right.

Abstract: In the field of wireless communication technologies, method and apparatus for determining a transport block size (TBS) of a data channel are provided. In a communication network, a terminal device receives control information from a network device. The control information includes modulation indication information and resource information of the data channel. The terminal device determines a modulation order and a code rate according to the modulation indication information, and determines number of time-frequency resources according to the resource indication information of the data channel. The terminal device determines the TBS according to the modulation order, the code rate, and the number of time-frequency resources. Based on the determined TBS, the terminal device decodes the data channel carried on the time-frequency resources or sends the data channel on the time-frequency resources.

Abstract: A system for assessing text content of a product. The system includes a computing device having a processor and a storage device storing computer executable code. The computer executable code, when executed at the processor, is configured to: provide text contents and confounding features of products; train a first regression model using the text content and the confounding features of the products; train the second regression model using the confounding features; operate the first regression model using the text contents and the confounding features to obtain a total loss; operate the second regression model using the confounding features of to obtain a partial loss; subtract the total loss from the partial loss to obtain a residual loss; use the residual loss to evaluate models and parameters for the regression models; and use the first regression model to obtain log odds of the words indicating importance of the words.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for performing combined grant-free and grant-based UL resource allocation. In a particular embodiment, a network entity sends a first type of UL transmission resource assignment selected from two types of UL transmission resource assignment mechanisms to a UE for grant-free transmission and a second type of UL transmission resource assignment from two types of UL transmission resource assignment mechanism to a UE for grant based transmission. The network entity then receives a first data transmission from the UE for grant free transmission using an assigned transmission resource and a second data transmission from the UE for grant based transmission using an assigned transmission resources. Other embodiments pertain to changing the resource allocation scheme from grant free to grant based for a UE, or vice versa. Examples reasons for doing so may include HARQ re-transmissions.

A lower body includes a reservoir housing provided below the upper body in a sealing manner. The reservoir housing has a fuel intake space, a fuel discharge space, and a fuel outlet. A reservoir cup is provided on a bottom of the reservoir housing and has a fuel inlet. A diaphragm includes a thin sheet separating the reservoir housing and the upper body and is actuated by the reciprocating rod of the upper body so as to perform a pumping action. An air pocket is provided in the discharge space, and has a predetermined expansible/contractible space. Discharge performance for supplying fuel is improved, thereby improving the fuel consumption efficiency of a vehicle.
