  • Patent number: 10432666
Abstract: A method of policy management in a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system uses a policy model that associates a user with one or more DLP endpoints. When an endpoint is added to the system, a set of policies for that endpoint are determined using an identity of the user that is associated with the endpoint and a list of roles or groups for that user. At policy distribution time, the method determines a set of endpoints to which the policy is to be distributed.

  • Patent number: 10389369
Abstract: An apparatus is comprised of a processor, a tuning voltage generator, a tuning circuit, an amplifier, and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The processor generates a tuning voltage command and a modulation command signal. The tuning voltage generator, coupled to the processor, receives the tuning voltage command and generates a baseline analog tuning signal based on the received tuning voltage command. The amplifier, coupled to the tuning voltage generator, receives the baseline analog tuning signal and the modulation signal, and generates a tuning signal based on the received baseline analog tuning signal and the received modulation command signal. The VCO, coupled to the amplifier, receives the tuning signal, generates a modulated radio frequency output signal based on the received tuning signal, and outputs the modulated radio frequency output signal, the modulated radio frequency output signal emulating a communication waveform.

  • Publication number: 20190219450
Abstract: A method for measuring furnace temperatures. The method includes obtaining radiance measurements from a plurality of regions of interest (ROIs) using a plurality of thermal imaging cameras, and measuring a surface temperature using a radiance measurement obtained from an ROI selected from the plurality of ROIs. Measuring the surface temperature includes determining an effective background radiance affecting the selected ROI using radiance measurements obtained from ROIs different from the selected ROI, obtaining a compensated radiance by removing the effective background radiance from the radiance measurement obtained from the selected ROI, and converting the compensated radiance to the measured surface temperature.

  • Patent number: 10187299
Abstract: The present invention enables the selection of network routes based on a combination of traditional route table entries and identity policy information determined dynamically for each network session. This enables a network operator to apply different policies to network entities presenting differing identity credentials. It also allows network operators to block access to networks and network resources when identity credentials are not provided or are unauthorized.

  • Patent number: 10145707
Abstract: The present invention is related to detecting location of a navigation device using sensor data analysis, where the sensor is coupled to the navigation device. A hierarchical algorithm is used for making a series of decisions regarding the location of the navigation device, with each decision corresponding to a class among a plurality of classes related to the possible motion modes and/or precise location of the device, including the location of the device with respect to a person's body. By accurately identifying the device location, the hierarchical algorithm facilitates in providing relevant contextual information, thereby enhancing situational awareness.

  • Patent number: 10145424
Abstract: A two dimensional structure such as a disk or belt is shaped or distorted to form a buckling wave. At least one contact touches the wave, with two contacts squeezing the wave between them providing a firmer connection. The wave is propagated along the structure by any of a variety of means including magnets or piezo actuators. This movement of the wave moves the contacts relative to the two dimensional structure, providing a high leverage ratio.

  • Publication number: 20180274987
Abstract: A system for obtaining temperature measurements. The system includes a photoluminescent target. The photoluminescent target includes a photoluminescent coating and a thermally conductive skeleton. The photoluminescent coating, when exposed to excitation light received from an interrogation unit, reemits light in a temperature-dependent manner, and the interrogation unit obtains a temperature measurement based on the reemitted light. The thermally conductive skeleton structure is configured to establish an even temperature distribution across the photoluminescent target, and to provide a support matrix for the photoluminescent coating that surrounds the skeleton structure. The photoluminescent target thermally interfaces with a target body from which the temperature measurement is to be obtained.
