Abstract: In some examples, an additive manufacturing technique for forming a vacuum insulator. For example, a method including forming an article including a first layer, a second layer, and at least one support member extending between the first and second layer by depositing a filament via a filament delivery device, wherein the filament includes a sacrificial binder and a powder, and wherein the first layer, second layer, and at least one support member define an open cavity within the article; removing the binder; and sintering the article to form the vacuum insulator, wherein the vacuum insulator defines a vacuum environment in the cavity.

Abstract: A data storage system and a global deduplication method thereof are provided. The data storage system includes multiple storage devices and one dispatch device. The dispatch device divides an original data corresponding to a data writing request into at least one data chunk. The dispatch device performs a summary calculation on one data chunk, so as to generate a representative value. The dispatch device performs a first distribution calculation on the representative value, so as to determine a destination location corresponding to the representative value. The dispatch device transmits the data chunk and the representative value to at least one destination storage device among the storage devices through a communication network according to the destination location. The at least one destination storage device checks the representative value, so as to determine whether to store the data chunk in a storage space of the at least one destination storage device.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided for performing soft entity resolution. A plurality of data objects are retrieved from a plurality of data stores to create aggregated data objects for one or more entities. One or more retrieved data objects may be associated with the same entity, based at least in part upon one or more attribute types and attribute values of the data objects. In response to a determination that the one or more of the retrieved data objects should be associated with the same entity, metadata is generated that associates the data objects with the entity, the metadata being stored separately from the data objects, such that the underlying data objects remain unchanged. In addition, one or more additional attributes may be determined for the entity, based upon the data objects associated with the entity.

Abstract: A graphic session coordinator is established to enable remote virtualized graphics operations on behalf of a set of graphics request generators. A request generator submits a graphics session request to the session coordinator. A configuration operation is performed at one or more routing devices to enable graphics operation request packets from the request generator to be delivered to a first remote virtualized graphics device and to enable graphics operation response packets to be transmitted to a destination.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mechanosynthesis are disclosed, including those that avoid the need for a bootstrap process, avoid the need to build tips via mechanosynthesis, avoid the need for charging tips with feedstock during a build sequence, avoid the need to dispose of reaction byproducts, which reduce the design complexity of new tips, and/or which reduce or avoid the need for multiple positional means and/or tip switching.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to organizing data to correspond to a matrix at a memory device are described. Data can be organized by circuitry coupled to an array of memory cells prior to the processing resources executing instructions on the data. The organization of data may thus occur on a memory device, rather than at an external processor. A controller coupled to the array of memory cells may direct the circuitry to organize the data in a matrix configuration to prepare the data for processing by the processing resources. The circuitry may be or include a column decode circuitry that organizes the data based on a command from the host associated with the processing resource. For example, data read in a prefetch operation may be selected to correspond to rows or columns of a matrix configuration.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for validating or rejecting automated detections of an entity being tracked within an environment in order to generate a track representative of a travel path of the entity within the environment. The automated detections of the entity may be generated by an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm. The track may represent a travel path of the tracked entity across a set of image frames. The track may contain one or more tracklets, where each tracklet includes a set of validated detections of the entity across a subset of the set of image frames and excludes any rejected detections of the entity. Each tracklet may also contain one or more user-provided detections in scenarios in which the tracked entity is observed or otherwise known to be present in an image frame but automated detection of the entity did not occur.

Abstract: Various embodiments of apparatuses and methods for protecting data integrity in a content distribution network (“CDN”) are described. Code or data in one of the servers or instances of a CDN might sometimes become incorrect or corrupt. One corrupted server or instance can potentially impact a considerable portion of the CDN. To solve these and other problems, various embodiments of a CDN can designate one or more parameters, which are then identified in a request for content to another entity. In these embodiments, the CDN can generate an encoding of the expected values of the designated parameters. The CDN can then compare, in these embodiments, its encoding of the expected values to an encoding of the values received from the other entity in response to the request. The CDN can validate the content of the response, as well as the identity of the other entity, in some embodiments.

The computing device can determine, from the image data, an identity represented in the image data. The computing device can determine an amount of the communication to present on the display screen based on the identity. In some embodiments, the computing device can determine which content of the communication to display based on the identity. The computing device can display a summary of the communication. The computing device can display an amount of the summary and/or the content of the summary based on the identity.

Abstract: A mounting assembly may include an arced connecting member that includes a first drive chain along a bottom surface of the arced connecting member, a second drive chain positioned adjacent to the first drive chain, and a third drive chain in a gap between the first and the second drive chains. The mounting assembly may include an intermittent-motion drive system that has a drive wheel with a nub extending from a lateral surface of the drive wheel, the nub being shaped to interface with notches included along the third drive chain. The intermittent-motion drive system may include a first and a second protrusion shaped to interface with surfaces of the first and second drive chains, respectively. Rotation of a drive axle extending through the drive wheel may affect rotation of the drive wheel, rotational movement of the nub extending from the drive wheel, and movement of the arced connecting member.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a networking device in a network detects an traffic flow conveyed in the network via the networking device. The networking device generates flow data for the traffic flow. The networking device performs a classification of the traffic flow using the flow data as input to a machine learning-based classifier. The networking device performs a mediation action based on the classification of the traffic flow.

Abstract: A network device receives a data packet including a source address and a destination address. The network device drops the data packet before it reaches the destination address and generates an error message indicating that the data packet has been dropped. The network device encapsulates the error message with a segment routing header comprising a list of segments. The first segment of the list of segments in the segment routing header identifies a remote server, and at least one additional segment is an instruction for handling the error message. The network device sends the encapsulated error message to the remote server based on the first segment of the segment routing header.

Abstract: A network controller may configure one or more channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) configurations for transmitting RSs to user equipments (UEs) for tracking. A CSI-RS configuration may specify a set of CSI-RS resources for transmitting RSs in two consecutive slots. The set of CSI-RS resources may include a plurality of one-port CSI-RS resources configured according to the CSI-RS configuration. The CSI-RS configuration may specify a quasi co-location (QCL) configuration including a set of QCL parameters, where a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) has a QCL relationship with the RS with respect to the set of QCL parameters. The network controller may signal the one or more CSI-RS configurations to UEs.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a memory device, wherein: an address latch can output a block selection control signal according to a block selection enable signal; a test mode selection unit can output a test mode selection signal according to a test mode selection instruction signal; a block selection unit outputs a block selection signal according to a mode selection signal and a block selection enable signal; when the memory enters a first test mode according to the test mode selection signal, an output buffer disables some of the input/output ports, and sequentially outputs the first input/output data and the second input/output data through un-disabled the input/output ports. The memory device according to the present disclosure can occupy less input/output ports of a test machine.

Abstract: A system for capturing and processing portions of a spoken utterance command that may occur before a wakeword. The system buffers incoming audio and indicates locations in the audio where the utterance changes, for example when a long pause is detected. When the system detects a wakeword within a particular utterance, the system determines the most recent utterance change location prior to the wakeword and sends the audio from that location to the end of the command utterance to a server for further speech processing.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to split, non-operational power states for a data storage device. The data storage device can transition between the split, non-operational power states without advertising the transition to the host device. The power state parameters that are advertised to the host device are adjusted such that the host device is guided to the correct power decision based on the advertised power and duration. By splitting the non-operational power states, the data storage device does not incur additional transitional energy costs for short idle durations.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed, comprising a memory device comprising multiple groups of memory cells, the groups comprising a first group of memory cells and a second group of memory cells configured to store information at a same bit capacity per memory cell, and a processing device operably coupled to the memory device, the processing device configured to adjust a scan event threshold for one of the first or second groups of memory cells to a threshold less than a target scan event threshold for the first and second groups of memory cells to distribute scan events in time on the memory device.

Abstract: First signaling indicative of instructions to enter a self-refresh (SREF) mode can be received concurrently by a plurality of memory dies. Responsive to a memory die of the plurality of memory dies entering the SREF mode, self-refreshing of memory banks of the memory die can be delayed, at the memory die and based on fuse states of an array of fuses of the memory die, an amount of time relative to receipt of the signaling by the memory die. Delaying self-refreshing of memory banks of memory dies in a staggered, or asynchronous, manner can evenly distribute power consumption of the memory dies so that the likelihood of an associated power spike is reduced or eliminated.
