Abstract: Examples described herein include methods, devices, and systems which may implement different processing stages for wireless communication in processing units. Such data processing may include a source data processing stage, a baseband processing stage, a digital front-end processing stage, and a radio frequency (RF) processing stage. Data may be received from a sensor of device and then processed in the stages to generate output data for transmission. Processing the data in the various stages may occur during an active time period of a discontinuous operating mode. During the active time period, a reconfigurable hardware platform may allocate all or a portion of the processing units to implement the processing stages. Examples of systems and methods described herein may facilitate the processing of data for 5G (e.g., New Radio (NR)) wireless communications in a power-efficient and time-efficient manner.

Abstract: A memory device includes a memory array comprising a plurality of planes, a plurality of voltage generation systems, and a controller. Each voltage generation system is electrically coupled to a corresponding plane. The controller is configured to turn on and warm up each voltage generation system of the plurality of voltage generation systems in response to a first command to access any plane of the plurality of planes and turn off and slowly discharge each voltage generation system of the plurality of voltage generation systems into an idle state in response to no commands being processed. In response to receiving a subsequent command to access any plane of the plurality of planes prior to the voltage generation systems reaching the idle state, a warm up period of the plurality of voltage generation systems is reduced.

Abstract: A redistribution layer of fan-out package and manufacturing method thereof is disclosed. Before forming a pattern wiring layer on each dielectric insulation layer, a thin metal ion layer is formed firstly. A connection between the metal ion layer and the corresponding dielectric insulation layer is weaker than that between the patterned wiring layer and the corresponding dielectric insulation layer. When the redistribution layer is placed in a high temperature and high humidity environment, the stress generated by the patterned circuit layer causes that multiple gaps to form between the metal ion layers and the corresponding dielectric insulating layer. Therefore, a distance between the adjacent dielectric insulating layer and the patterned wiring layer is increased to reduce the capacitive effect and the power consumption of the thinner redistribution layer.

Abstract: Introduced here are cryptobionic implants designed for implantation within a human body that are capable of facilitating an identity authentication and/or an intent validation process. These cryptobionic implants can be designed to be cryptographically secure. For example, a cryptobionic implant may include a processor configured to encrypt data residing in an internal storage and a transponder configured to transmit the encrypted data to a reader device located outside of the human body for decryption. The reader device (or some other electronic device) may be able to verify the identity of the individual in whom the cryptobionic implant is implanted based on the decrypted data.
Abstract: A current demarcation voltage is determined, where the current demarcation voltage is to be applied to a memory cell for reading a state of the memory cell. Based on the current demarcation voltage and a space between a first threshold voltage distribution corresponding to a first state of the memory cell and a second threshold voltage distribution corresponding to a second state of the memory cell, a test demarcation voltage having a low error rate of reading the state of the memory cell is selected. The current demarcation voltage is set to correspond to the selected test demarcation voltage.

Abstract: A computer system having a host coupled to a storage device via a peripheral component interconnect express bus. The host communicates write commands of low priority to the storage device, which places them in a queue for execution at an idle time. In response to a determination that the storage device is in an idle state, the storage device best accommodates the write commands in the idle queue in connection with housekeeping tasks, such as garbage collection and wear leveling, to best reduce write amplification.
