  • Patent number: 8675650
Abstract: A technique is disclosed for synchronizing NAT information stored on different network devices that have been configured to implement a network address translation protocol. Each of the network devices includes a respective NAT data structure configured to store NAT information. The NAT information includes at least one NAT entry relating to a network node engaged in a communication session with at least one other network node. At least one NAT entry in a first NAT data structure is modified. The first NAT data structure is associated with a first NAT network device. A first NAT transaction message is generated which includes information relating to the modifications performed on the first NAT data structure. The first NAT transaction message is transmitted to at least one other NAT network device to thereby cause that device to modify its respective NAT data structure using information from the first NAT transaction message.

  • Patent number: 8672943
Abstract: A saw blade assembly for use with a driver having an oscillatory drive member comprises an elongate sheath and an elongate monolithic blade. The sheath's proximal end is removably mountable on the driver. The sheath has an open interior which receives the blade. The blade's proximal end is pivotably mounted to the sheath's proximal end. The blade's distal cutting end extends out of the sheath's distal end and is transverse to the blade's central longitudinal axis. When cutting bone, the drive member pivots the blade's cutting end back and forth in an arc about a pivot point at the blade's proximal end while the driver holds the sheath stationary to protect surrounding tissues from the motions of the remainder of the blade. The long pivot radius between the proximal pivot point and the distal cutting end contributes to minimizing the angle of engagement of the cutting end to the bone.

  • Patent number: 8675799
Abstract: A circuit includes an oversampling logic unit, an alternating current estimator, and a logic processor. The oversampling logic unit generates a plurality of alternating current terms according to an oversampling clock, and outputs a plurality of alternating current terms corresponding to an output clock from the plurality of alternating current terms according to the output clock. The alternating current estimator executes a discrete cosine transform and a discrete sine transform on a plurality of alternating current terms outputted from the oversampling logic unit within a first predetermined time to generate a first value and a second value respectively. The logic processor compares a number of first values and a number of second values within a second predetermined time, and generates a clock data recovery phase locked indicator according to a comparing result.

  • Patent number: 8672195
Abstract: A container including a nozzle and body depending therefrom. The body is preferably tubular and defines an interior which retains a product to be dispensed. A cap engages the nozzle to prevent inadvertent release of the product. In order to dispense the product, the cap is removed and pressure is applied to the body and the nozzle allows release of the product. The nozzle releases the product without exposing the remaining product to the external atmosphere, thus the sterility of the interior of the body is maintained and the shelf life of the product is increased. The nozzle includes an inner body, coupled to the tubular body, surrounded by a flexible outer cover. A seam between the inner body and flexible outer cover forms a one-way release valve wherein a portion of the seam remains closed during dispensing the product.

  • Patent number: 8675306
Abstract: A disk clamp for clamping a plurality of disks within a disk drive has a single fastening hole located at its symmetrical center sized to pass the shaft of a screw having a head diameter larger than the fastening hole. The screw fastens the disk clamp to a motor hub supporting the plurality of disks. The disk clamp has a moat around the fastening hole, at a maximum diameter that is smaller than the head diameter of the head on the fastening screw. The moat may be circular, have spike trenches angled toward the fastening hole, or be spiral. The diameter of the spiral moat decreases in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction toward the fastening hole. The midsection of the disk which the screw head covers is biased at a negative angle toward the fastening hole forcing particles generated during assembly toward the fastening hole of the disk clamp.

  • Patent number: 8677014
Abstract: Fine granularity exchange level load balancing may be performed in a device in a storage area network in order to ensure that processors in a multi-core environment are not overloaded. This may be accomplished by assigning input/outputs relating to a particular exchange to a specific processor, and maintaining that association so that subsequent related input/outputs are handled by the same processor. In this process, the system may first determine if a received IO is new. If so, then it may assign the IO to a particular data path processor and create a context corresponding to the IO and the processor, as well as to the type of the non-command frame. Subsequently, an event may be received corresponding to the IO, which may then be forwarded to the processor assigned to the IO.

  • Patent number: 8674404
Abstract: Memory devices, such as DRAM memory devices, may include one or more metal layers above a local interconnect of the DRAM memory that make contact to lower gate regions of the memory device. As the size of semiconductor components decreases and circuit densities increase, the density of the metal routing in these upper metal layers becomes increasingly difficult to fabricate. By providing additional metal routing in the lower gate regions that may be coupled to the upper metal layers, the spacing requirements of the upper metal layers may be eased, while maintaining the size of the semiconductor device. In addition, the additional metal routing formed in the gate regions of the memory devices may be disposed parallel to other metal contacts in a strapping configuration, thus reducing a resistance of the metal contacts, such as buried digit lines of a DRAM memory cell.
