  • Patent number: 6314967
Abstract: This invention relates to a brush conventionally based on a metal wire (1) folded on itself and twisted in a spiral to form an attachment core (6) for fiber tufts forming the brush itself, the main characteristics being that it includes two types of fibers, namely plastic fibers (4) for example made of nylon, and vegetable fibers (5) for example made of cotton, linen or the like. The tufts of both types fibers (4-5) are laid out alternately such that the vegetable fibers (5) “stock” the makeup product, thus facilitating impregnation of the plastic fibers (4) when these plastic fibers come into contact with the user's eyelashes, making it possible to apply the mascara in a single pass.

  • Patent number: 6217243
Abstract: The lipstick tube (20) has a cap (5) to be coupled by pressure on a collar (4) emerging axially from the tube body (1), characterised in that it comprises a ring of material (6) having a flexible free end (16), said ring (6) being provided with an external rabbet or recess (9) around the periphery close to its free end defining an annular void (10) between the free end (16) of the ring (6) and, respectively, the cap (5) or the collar (4), towards which the ring (6) may be elastically deformed when it is connected, respectively, to the collar (4) of the tube body or to the cap (5), to make an airtight closure of the tube (20).

  • Patent number: 6139208
Abstract: A lipstick tube is disclosed that includes a cylindrical tube body (3) provided with a wall with vertical grooves (2), inside which a bottom part (9) moves and supports a lipstick and is equipped with two pins which pass through the grooves in the tube body and move along the helical grooves (40) formed on the inside an external spiral (4) coaxially surrounding the tube body (3), such that relative movement of rotation between the tube body (3) and the spiral (4) causes axial displacement of the bottom part (9). The tube body (3) and the spiral (4) include click-fit means in the axial direction that work together to permanently assemble the tube body (3).
