Abstract: The present invention is directed to a low cost and high yield synthetic method of producing large quantity and homogenous metal nanoparticles, which are capped by both hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfactants and soluble in water, water-miscible solvents, and non-polar solvents. The solubility of metal nanoparticles in different solvents can be controlled by simply changing the ratio of hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfactants.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a composition for preparing transparent conductive coating on transparent substrate by an environment friendly method. An aqueous foam dispersion containing metal nanoparticles can form a transparent film by spontaneous self-assembly, which becomes conductive after sintering. The foam formulation contains mainly water without any toxic organic solvent.
