Abstract: Elastic joint comprising:—an inner ring (1) provided with an axial opening (11) for being mounted on a shaft “E” and with an outer surface having: two opposite intermediate sections (13) having a decreasing cross-section towards opposite ends of said inner ring (1) and forming supporting zones for the metal wire cushions (3), and two end sections (14) having a smaller cross-section than the central section;—an outer ring (2) provided with an outer cylindrical surface (21) for mounting the ring to on a support (S) and with an inner surface with two intermediate portions (22) having a decreasing cross-section towards opposite ends of the outer ring (2), facing the intermediate sections (13) of the inner ring (2); and—metal wire cushions (3) arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring (2).

Abstract: Earthquake protection system for a floating slab (1), for the conservation of the structures placed on the slab against the dynamic forces caused by earthquakes, comprising one or more vertical holding devices, arranged on the floating slab (1), and one or more side dampers (20), located on the side walls of the floating slab (1), wherein vertical holding devices are configured for the limitation and damping of the vertical movement of the floating slab and wherein the side dampers (20) are configured to limit and damp the movement of the floating slab (1) in the horizontal direction. The invention also comprises a protection method against earthquakes for protecting that which is arranged on the floating slabs.
Abstract: Anti-vibration support system; applicable in the protection of various apparatuses (E) against seismic movements and vibrations of any kind, comprising: —a lower base consisting of a floating mount (1), forming a resting surface for the apparatus (E) to be protected, and of a fixed mount (2), —an upper base (3) intended to rest on the apparatus (E) to be protected and —side structures (4a, 4b) comprising at least one tilted bar (41) connected by damping elements (42) to the upper base (3) and the fixed mount (2) of the lower base; said side structures (4a, 4b) limiting the movement of the upper base (3) and the apparatus (E) to be protected, at least, in the vertical direction.
