Abstract: An apparatus and a method for charging a battery are disclosed. The apparatus includes a LED member that includes a single LED that is suitable for emitting light of different colours, each colour corresponding to a different operating status of the apparatus, and an acoustic signalling device that is suitable for emitting an acoustic signal indicating a malfunction of the apparatus or the battery. The method includes a first battery heating and desulphation step during which the battery is supplied with current pulses having a maximum value that is considerably lower than the maximum value of the charging current in a subsequent second constant current charging step, each current pulse being generated when the current absorbed by the battery after the delivery of a previous current pulse falls below a minimum preset value.
Abstract: A disposable canister filled with sealant liquid has an inner closure for retaining the sealant liquid inside the canister; a compressed-air inlet conduit; an outlet conduit for receiving the sealant liquid when the closure is in an open position; a first portion having one of the inlet and outlet conduits; and a second portion; the first and second portions being joined by a weld to form a tank which holds the sealant liquid in a ready-for-use position by means of the closure.
Abstract: A portable compressor for a tire repair kit comprises an adaptor mobile or removable from a force transmitting use position, the adaptor having an upper edge projecting with respect to an outer side wall of the compressor and defining a seat for a container of sealing fluid, the upper edge being spaced in use from a surface on which the compressor rests; and being configured to define a side support by means of a force transmission to the compressor to oppose an excessive inclination of the container of sealing fluid during the injection of sealing fluid by means of pressurized air.
Abstract: A container for sealant liquid to repair an inflatable article, preferably pneumatic, comprises a shell defining an inner volume for a sealant liquid, an inlet port for introduction of a gas under pressure into the inner volume, an outlet port for injection of the sealant liquid after pressurisation of the inlet port and a flexible tube connected to the outlet port. The container also comprises a case detachable from the shell and surrounding the flexible tube when it is connected to the shell.
Abstract: Sealing composition for repairing tires comprising: 15 to 80% of natural latex, 5 to 50% of synthetic latex, 10 to 60% of a glycol selected from ethylene glycol and propylene glycol and 0.05 to 5% of a mineral chosen from a phyllosilicate and silica having an average granulometric distribution in the range between 5 and 95 nm.
Abstract: A container for sealant liquid to repair an inflatable article, preferably pneumatic, comprises a shell defining an inner volume for a sealant liquid, an inlet port for introduction of a gas under pressure into the inner volume, an outlet port for injection of the sealant liquid after pressurisation of the inlet port, a closure unit configurable between a closed position, in which the sealant liquid is held in the inner volume and an open position reached after pressurisation of the inlet port, in which the inlet port and the outlet port are connected by means of the inner volume. In particular, the inlet port and the outlet port are on opposing sides with respect to the inner volume.

Abstract: A kit for inflating and repairing inflatable articles, in particular tires, the kit having a compressor assembly, a container of sealing liquid and connectors for connecting the container to the compressor assembly and to an inflatable article for repair or inflation; the compressor assembly being housed in an outer casing defining a seat for the container of sealing liquid. The container is housed removably in the seat and functionally connected to the compressor assembly so as to form a compact unit ready for use.

Abstract: A container for sealant liquid to repair an inflatable article, preferably pneumatic, comprises a shell defining an inner volume for a sealant liquid, an inlet port for introduction of a gas under pressure into the inner volume, an outlet port for injection of the sealant liquid after preservation of the inlet port, a closure unit configurable between a closed position in which the sealant liquid is held in the inner volume and an open position reached after pressurisation of the inlet port, in which the inlet port and the outlet port are connected by means of the inner volume. In particular, the inlet port and the outlet port are on opposing sides with respect to the inner volume.
