Abstract: A device for use in connection with tapping off fluid from or filling fluid into a container comprises a bell-like housing which is adapted to be removably mounted with an open end thereof over an internally threaded tapping or filling hole in a wall of the container and which is provided with an opening through which fluid may be fed into or discharged from the housing, and a tool for manually operating an externally threaded generally cup-shaped closing plug for said hole, from a position outside the housing. Said tool comprises a shaft which extends slidably and rotatably through a portion of the housing opposite to the open end of the housing, handle means provided at an outer end of said shaft.

Abstract: A spring coiling machine comprises two cooperating rotatable wire feeding rollers and a driving device for said wire feeding rollers by which said rollers may be rotated in order to feed a wire in its longitudinal direction between said rollers to a spring forming station, where wire bending tools are provided to cause the wire, as it reaches said station, to be successively bent into a generally helical shape in order to form a coiled spring by being brought into contact with said bending tools with successive portions thereof, and where a separate movable pitch controlling tool is provided to control the pitch of said spring along the length thereof through engagement with said wire. A cam follower is connected to said pitch controlling tool to control the position thereof through cooperation with a movable cam curve operatively connected to said driving device. Said cam curve is arranged for reciprocating rectilinear movement in unison with a reciprocating gear rack included in said driving device.

Abstract: An apparatus for separating entangled objects from each other comprises an upstanding cylindrical receptacle which contains a separation chamber of annular cross-section formed between a cylindrical outer wall and an inner wall located in coaxial relationship to the outer wall. A mechanism is provided for generating a generally helical flow of air along the inner side of the outer wall in order to move objects, fed into the receptacle, from the lower portion of the separation chamber to a discharge opening located at a higher level.
