Abstract: This new current invention will register a portable charger, especially the USB type one that uses lithium battery of 3.7 V as power source with output of some 5.2 V. It consists of outer case, circuit board within the outer case, USB port on the circuit board. One end of the outer case has a port for the compatible connection of USB port wire. Also installed on the outer case are the transfer part of active switch and passive switch. The passive switch is connected to the main circuit of the circuit board by means of switch. While the charger is not in use, the passive switch is off, and the main circuit is shut off in turn. And the internal battery has almost zero loss to save the energy at its maximum. Only when the charger is in use, some force is operated on the active switch, and the active switch will turn on the passive switch to have the main circuit connected for the consumption of the battery energy.
Abstract: A portable power storage device for powering electronic devices especially those configured for receiving power from a 9 volt DC adapter source and configured to generate its own power through a fully self-contained, manually operable power generator. A switch-controlled flashlight utilizing a LED is also provided. The internal rechargeable battery may be recharged through either the power generator or DC power source coupled to the device through respective input connectors. Indicators provide the charging status of the power backup source. The flashlight, in another embodiment, is configured to be turned on responsive to a motion sensor as well as being configured to turn on under control of an ambient light sensor. Audio and visual alarms may also be utilized. An SOS mode is provided to generate an SOS alarm which is set to operate over a given time interval.
Abstract: A compact, battery-operated, rechargeable device providing flashlight and nightlight capabilities responsive to one or both of motion detection and light detection, and which is further capable of providing a timed flashlight operation, all within a highly compact, rugged housing.
Abstract: A telephone unit having a plurality of lines which connect to a PBX and having a microprocessor which transmits and receives data over a digital line between telephone units associated in a group such that a direct forwarding feature is controlled by the microprocessor altering the ring arrangement among the telephones in the group. The telephone unit also has a speakerphone which is controlled by the microprocessor. Each telephone unit has means for monitoring the status of the lines associated with it and providing data to the microprocessor as to line status.
