Patents Assigned to Teleflex Morse Ltd.
  • Patent number: 4459870
Abstract: The invention comprehends a remote control mechanism comprising a control device, a controlled device, and push-pull control links operatively connected at one end to said control device and at the opposite end to said controlled device, said control device being supported for pivotal movement about mutually displaced axes, said controlled device including controlled means supported for linear movement along a longitudinal axis and pivotal movement about said longitudinal axis, said control links being coincidentally moved in response to pivotal movement of said control device about one of said mutually displaced axes to effect pivotal movement of said controlled means about said longitudinal axes, and said central links being differentially relatively moved in response to pivotal movement of said control device about the other of said mutually displaced axes to effect linear movement of said controlled means along said longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 4007645
Abstract: An operator mechanism for translating the core of a cable having a casing guiding the core, comprising a cable wheel mounted for rotation inside a housing, the cable wheel being adapted for attachment of the core to a defined region of the periphery thereof so that the core, when so attached, will, at its attached area, be rotatably fast with the peripheral region of the cable wheel, a handle for rotating the cable wheel, the handle being positioned outside the housing and adjacent a forward end face thereof, the handle being capable of operative securement with respect to the cable wheel in any of a plurality of angular orientations relative thereto about the axis thereof.

  • Patent number: 3993350
Abstract: A seat arm adjustment mechanism has a stop block attached to the back of a seat, and a shaft slidably mounted in a housing on the arm bears against the stop block. A locking arm is slidably mounted on the shaft within a slot in the housing. A spring, disposed in the housing and positionally held by a screw, effects a biasing force against a face of the locking arm. A raised portion of the locking arm bears against a face of the housing. A second spring mounted on a screw between an end of the shaft and a bracket moves the shaft toward the stop block. An elongated rod is slidably mounted on the arm to bear against a face on the locking arm opposite the first spring. Pushing the rod against locking arm allows the locking arm to slide along the shaft, while the arm is being moved to a new selected position. The arm may be raised and lowered, whereupon it stops at the last selected position.
