    Abstract: A method performed by a first network device comprises reaching a synchronization state with a first communication device based on alignment information of a first interface of the first network device. The alignment information of the first interface includes at least one of a line rate order for line rate iteration, an iteration time interval and an iteration start time. The method further comprises determining whether a second network device has reached the synchronization state with a second communication device at a same line rate as the first interface, wherein the second network device includes a second interface, and the second network device tries to reach the synchronization state with the second communication device based on the same alignment information as the first interface of the first network device. The method further comprises locking the same line rate at the first interface of the first network device.

    Abstract: Methods and systems to predict network performance of a network are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method comprises: training a first sub-model using a subset of a plurality of time series of data values, where the first sub-model comprises a type of generalized additive model, and where training the first sub-model comprises determining parameters within a plurality of univariate functions of the first sub-model; and training a second sub-model using the subset of the time series of data values, wherein the second sub-model comprises a type of autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model. The method further comprises determining a weight distribution between the first and second sub-models using additional data values from the time series of data values to generate a hybrid model incorporating the first and second sub-models, and predicting a data value of the performance indicator of the network at a later day using the hybrid model.

In this manner, continuous WPT is provided. Corresponding embodiments of an ET are also disclosed. Embodiments of a method performed by an EH and corresponding embodiments of an EH are also disclosed.

The method further comprises tuning a local frequency reference fRef, of the UE to a received downlink frequency for the particular cell and adjusting the local frequency reference fRef, over time according to the pre-calculated characterization of Doppler variations in the particular cell. In this manner, the communication between the UE and the network node in the presence of large and varying Doppler shifts is enabled. Embodiments related to compensating for timing drift are also disclosed.
