Abstract: A method and device for transmitting a scheduling request. the method includes: transmitting a scheduling request to a network device via a random access procedure when a maximum counter value of a scheduling request configuration is reached; information on the scheduling request configuration is transmitted to the network device during the random access procedure. Therefore, the network device can know which SR configuration that the terminal device would like to reconfigure upon reception of the RACH message; and only one or more resources corresponding to the SR configuration may be released, such that service interruption for other LCGs/LCHs may not happen.
