  • Patent number: 11990969
Abstract: According to an aspect, a wireless node selects a set of reference signal antenna ports for use in transmitting data to other wireless nodes in a given transmit time interval, from a plurality of sets of reference signal antenna ports that are available for use and that include reference signal antenna ports having different reference signal densities in the frequency and/or time dimension. The wireless node sends a message to a second wireless node indicating a reference signal assignment and including an indication of the selected set of reference signal antenna ports.

  • Patent number: 11991065
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed to identify network nodes/cells with performance seasonality based on time series of performance data and external reference data. A plurality of time series of data values is obtained, each time series comprising a series of data values corresponding to a performance indicator of one network node in a periodicity. A plurality of series of external reference data values in the first periodicity is also obtained. For a time series of data values, the method identifies a network node providing the time series of data values as having performance seasonality regarding the performance indicator of the network, when similarity between the time series of data values and a corresponding series of external reference data values meets a criterion based on dynamic time warping distance calculation and pair-wise distance calculation using the time series of data values and the series of external reference data values.

  • Patent number: 11991550
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for performing measurement configuration using a user equipment, UE, and a network node are disclosed. An example method performed by a UE includes receiving a measurement configuration from a network node, where the measurement configuration specifies a reference frequency corresponding to a set of one or more carriers. The measurement configuration further specifies an offset from the reference frequency. The UE performs measurements on a reference signal located at the offset from the reference frequency and uses the measurements for one or more radio operations.

  • Patent number: 11991569
Abstract: A system, method and non-transitory computer readable media for facilitating adaptive anchor layer mobility in a 5G NSA implementation. In one arrangement, a handover modulation criterion involving relevant trigger parametrics of an anchor cell node serving a UE and a target cell node may be compared against a tunable threshold parameter indicative of the effect of the target cell on the anchor cell quality. If the handover modulation criterion does not exceed the tunable threshold value, a quality degradation prediction with respect to the UE may be executed to estimate a likelihood of service failure for the UE. Responsive to determining that the likelihood of service failure does not exceed a probability threshold, handover of the UE to the target cell may be suppressed.
