When the message m is received (3:3) from a client (302) for encryption, an encryption engine (300b) in the encryption node (300), encrypts (3:4) the message m by computing a cipher text c as e=gm·F mod n2, where g is another predefined integer parameter of the selected encryption scheme. The cipher text c is then delivered (3:5) as an encryption of the message m, e.g. to the client (302) or to a cloud of processing resources (304).

    Abstract: In one aspect of the teachings herein, a controlling gateway and an associated radio access point are configured for operation in a radio access network and use a radio protocol stack that is split on the network side between the gateway and the access point, for conveying radio bearer traffic going between the radio access network and a wireless device. According to methods and apparatuses disclosed, the radio protocol entities affected by the stack split communicate using Internet Protocol, IP, sessions. Advantageously, the radio bearer traffic conveyed over the split stack maps to different IP sessions in dependence on any one or more of network capabilities, various isolation or privacy requirements associated with the device and/or traffic, the types of data being conveyed, the types of radio bearers involved, and the involved Radio Link Control, RLC, operating modes.

    Abstract: A performance monitoring system and method is based on a Detailed Call Record (DCR). A DCR contains records of events occurring in different network domains (14, 20, 40) that are related to a single, specific VoLTE call. The DCR events for each VoLTE call cover all legs of the call, and for each call leg, the relevant events are ordered by time. A DCR also contains basic information to identify the call: the IMS Charging Identifier (ICID), the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of all involved subscribers, and the start and stop timestamps of the call. A DCR has all the relevant user plane measurement, radio measurement, and control plane data from all the involved domains (14, 20, 40) for all call legs of a VoLTE call, in contrast to prior art systems that focus only on a single subscriber's activities for a given call. The DCR thus provides a complete view of the call, allowing more complete analytics and troubleshooting.

The network node then obtains (502) a channel estimate based on the DPCCH comprising the second power. A configuration node receives input information, and based on that received input information, determines measurement time slot configuration information. The node provides the measurement time slot configuration information to the base stations so that the base stations may signal the measurement time slot configuration information to mobile terminals.

A cascade of blocks each depending on a non-linearity parameter are utilized both in non-linear modeling and a pre-distorter design. The new non-linear model description can be used for characterization of a non-linear system or for linearizing a non-linear system. Application to a Communications System Multi-carrier Amplifier is shown as an application example. Also for other application areas of the new mathematical method is feasible echo-canceling, non-linear communications channels etc. Parameter extractions and tables for the new model do not give multiple dimensional mathematical solutions for parameter extractions as in prior art.

The function can include calculation for each of a plurality channels. In situations, when there is not available processor capacity to perform the calculation function for each channel, the quality of the algorithm is degraded in a controlled manner to decrease the amount of necessary calculations so that more channels can be handled. The quality of the algorithm is degraded by dividing the algorithm into subfunctions and by performing only some of the subfunctions in said situations when momentary calculation peak exist.

The input voltage signal is converted to an intermediate current signal by an input resistance and an equivalent resistance provided by, for example, an inverting amplifier and a transistor. A current mirror having a dominant pole converts the intermediate current signal to the output voltage signal, and provides low pass filtering. The converter avoids the use of linear capacitors, and can be easily implemented in a CMOS device.
